Tic Tac flicked his hair out of his eyes as he wandered aimlessly for the moment. Czigany was once more spending time with Givenna, the female who welcomed him and his daugher into her 'lands.' He sighed through his nose as he padded along quietly. His large paws leaving imprints on the ground as he walked. He looked up at the sky and sighed through his nose. His mind was still slightly at his past mate, he was on his own now and it hurt him, but he tried to stay strong for the daughter who stayed with him. He looked around for a moment before spreading his wings out some and continued to walk, heading a new watering hole. He wasn't that sure of where he was,b ut he knew he had been traveling for a few hours now. He really should head back. He paused, looking around and flicking his tail behind him, before deciding to push on just a little more toward the lake he saw infront of him. He was so glad to see it. He leaned foreward and then lapped up some water before sitting back on his haunches and looking out at the water.
"So beautiful..." He mumured to himself as he looked it over with a soft smile and then yawned flicking his mane out of his eyes once more then wrapping his tail around his back leg and folding his large wings against him.

Artemis looked to the sky with a wistful sigh - it was almost night, when the Gods smiled down upon her and let her brother rest. She padded carefully through the trees, her unusually small size making it easy for her to sneak beneath branches that blocked the path to any other lion. When she broke once more into the light she faced a lake with a quite serene feeling.
Idly, Artemis wondered how far from the pride she had wandered. It was not without making sure it would be secure, but she needed a bit of time to explore the land around the mountain just as her brother had done when he first came here. She scanned the horizon and the edge of the lake, her eyes falling upon a large, brightly colored male lying by the water's edge. She pondered him a moment, but shrugged, figuring he'd do her no harm, and moved closer to the water's edge, kneeling to take a drink.

Tic Tac lifted his head then looked at the moon with a soft sigh. It was nice out tonight, he was glad he decided to go out. He smiled softly then flicked his tail behind him, he wasn't aware of the female's presence at first. Slowly he inched foreward a bit, doing a awkard little walk for he was still sitting on the ground as he did, then dipped his fronts paws in the water.
His attetion snapped foreward as he noticed the scent of the female and also the sounds of the water rippling. His large body rose, slinking back just a little bit, he was a very big lion, and he knew it, bigger than most of the other lions he knew, but he was sweet.
"Hello..." His voice grumbled out, he smiled softly and nodded toward her. "Nice night." He said looking up at the moon once more and smiling.

Artemis looked up without a hint of surprise in her eyes, "All nights are nice, though this is more pleasant than most." She licked the water from her chin and her ears cocked up a bit. As her tail swayed softly across the air, a faint trail of moon light-like light followed it, separate from that of the light cast by the moon above them. "It's a pleasure to meet you on such a nice night, though. My name is Artemis." There was little that this small lioness feared, and a strange lion on a pleasant night was not on the short list.

Tic Tac smiled softly at the female's words. He nodded in responce to her. "Accutally yes, I have to agree to that." Nights were normally very good, she did have a point. He nodded to her and relaxed some. "That is a very beautiful name Artemis... My name is Tic Tac." He stood up and bowed to her before sitting back down, he was one of much respect, that's for sure, to him all female's deserved to be bowed down to.

Artemis fidgeted a moment, "you're making me uncomfortable, bowing like that. I'm no king, just an adviser." She shifted a bit, "Pleasure to meet you though, Tic Tac." She found it strange, looking so far up to meet his eyes. Sure, she was small, and her brother wasn't exactly a full-sized male lion, either, but she thought that this was getting a bit ridiculous. "What brings you out at this time?"

Tic Tac nodded to her. "I'm sorry for making you feel uncomforable, I'd rather not do that, to anyone." He shook his head then raised a curious brow. "So you live in a pride though, and the pleasure is all mine." He chuckled. "I'm really just wandering right now, trying to take my mind off of old loves and give my daughter a break from me." He sighed through his nose. "What about you, what brings out out of the confurts of your pride?"

His words piqued Artemis's interest, and she had to work a bit harder than usual not to show interest. "It is the very comforts that I seek to leave for a bit. As much as I love my brother's pride, it's nice to get away every so often... Wouldn't you agree?" It took most of her will power not to ask of his past, but she figured that it would probably make him a bit uncomfortable, and perhaps scare him away. He ad intrigued her at the very beginning, and she had no intention of letting this one get away from her and her ultimate goal.

Tic Tac blinked a few times at her but smiled. "Ah. Yes, I don't blame you. I was twice part of two different prides and each time I had to wander away..." Except the second time was parting ways with loved ones. He stiffened for a moment but relaxed. He flicked his tail as he sat back more on his haunches smiling at her. "So I'm not on lands of a pride? I was really hoping I wasn't." He nodded, he hated to be on other's lands that he didn't know... He scanned her over with his eyes, she looked like she could have been a queen, her markings and her jewelry on her. But he shrugged the idea off.

This caused her to give him a devious grin, "If you were to happen upon our lands, you would be quite the impressive wanderer..." She shifted, and her face fell once more into its usual serene state. "I'm sorry, but I feel I must ask... What caused you to leave your prides?" She figured that this question would be slightly less forward than any other she had come up with, and would perhaps give her a window into his heart, even if just a small one.

Tic Tac blinked at her first comment, he really wasn't that sure about what she was saying. "What do you mean?" He made a small face then ruffled his wings then relaxing, letting them fall back into place. "I left my first one because, well I wanted to be off on my own, and the pride was getting to big..." He sighed. "The second one, I was with my mate and our two girls, but we dirfted a part... I took one of our daughters and went the other way... I still had feelings for her, but now my life is sorta getting back to normal, I'm living with a nice female who is helping me raise my daughter, She's a pretty good friend..." He looked at her, he didn't know how but she was some one he just wanted to tell everything to. He felt pretty confurable around her.

Artemis nodded as he talked, leaving his question to the winds - some questions of Apollo's pride were best left unanswered. "It's good that you've found another female," she replied with a gentle smile. "Those things take time and the right environment to move past... The right support helps." Her voice was soothing and clear, and her eyes went deep into her heart.

Tic Tac couldn't help but to laugh a bit, more of a snort though. He schook h is head. "Ah, she hates me. And I'm not the fondest of her, the only reason I'm allowed to stay is becuase of my daughter." He shrugged. "She wants to help me with her, but thats it. If anything she just barely see's me as a friend..." He sat back on his haunches then shook his headm he wasn't that big of a fan of her, but he sure did apprecaite her taking him and his daughter in, well... more of his daughter.

Artemis nodded, "I see... I guess it's a bit more unfortunate that it initially sounded..." She sighed - his words had made her heart drop a bit - she felt a bit sorry for him, though in the healthiest of ways. "I'm sorry to hear that..."
