ya, peace, love, phish. its all awesome. but what about those little groups of idiots that think that the can play music that everyone except you seems to like?
for me, its mainly green day at my #1 cant stand list, then pry like weezer and the black eyed peas.

Green Day was cooler back in the day when they didn't just churn out music that they thought their audience would like. They used to have an "apartness" and now they kind of sound like everyone else. :/
I don't have any particular bands that I hate, but I do have things in general that I don't like. I don't like Pop Princesses whose music is all drone and T&A. I don't like certain rap/hip-hop that's all T&A. Basically, I don't like T&A stamped all over lyrics and music videos, not that I really watch those at all. If people want to make music like that, that's fine. They just won't get consumer or other support from me. (:

reason - Hey! Even if punk was good and dead when it was still good in the 1970s-1980s, Green day thinks they can just bring it back when they are only just making a new-new-new wave of punk music that shouldn't be around. Punk is dead, let it die with the good bands from generation x's time.
#2. avirl
reason - ooo look at her, she's wearing every bracelet and crummy jewlery from hot topic, ooo and she has a tie! Not like she is supporting women who want to get an operation to become a man, naw she just wants to wear it for no good reason.
#3. Slipknot
Reason - Every song by them is the same "RAWRAWRARWRARWRARW LETS SEE HOW LOUD I CAN YELL INTO THE MICROPHONE! BRAWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!" I like a good heavy metal song now and then, but come on! You can't hear a dam word he says!
#4. Black eye peas
Reason - I use to not hate, but not like this band. They were allright and had a good beat. I hate that now its "hey lets get some blonde white chick and just have her dance around." They didn't need her, yet she just dances around and will sing one small line in some songs. Also I can't turn to one channel on tv without seeing them pop up selling their music to some product. It was allright to hear a song by them now and then, but when it hits 10+ diff tv ads that will go on all day, thats enuff.

WHats wrong with a good scream whee ya, i see what you mean with hating slipknot. i used to too when all they played on my radio station was annoying friggin duality. and you're definately right about the screaming, its a bit crazy unless you listen to them all the time. i do so i cant hear the annoying as hell wanna-be rappers that think they're hip and cool just cause they're a minority, and they think they're poor. 50 CENT OR G UNIT OR WHATEVER THE **** HES CALLING HIMSELF IS NO LONGER FROM THE STREETS. sorry to break the news, but he moved up to beverly hills with shaq and neil daimond once he started singing that annoying In da club song.

I hate pretty much all emo.
Dislike pretty much all punk, except for the originals like The Clash, ect.
And most rap sucks.

I hate just about everything that's popular, really... xd Not in an "I'm going to be different and hate popular stuff" way but just in a dislike of the sound of it way. The band/musician I hate most of all is Toby Keith, but that's largely for non-music related reasons so I don't know if it counts.

It makes me sad to see that my own peers don't know who the hell Judas Priest (WTF! HOW CAN YOU NOT KNOW JUDAS PRIEST?!) is yet consider themselves metalheads. >__<
I also hate pop-punk, most modern rock (Three Doors Down, Seether, whatever the heck is playing on the radio), modern rap (Gimme Run DMC any day), and modern country music.
I like punk rock...but mostly the old stuff. The Clash, The Damned, The Stooges, The Ramones, etc.
