Alright, I figure this would be a good topic and would get people talking Eva outside of the off-topic forum. biggrin
So, who was you favorite Evangelion character and why?
Me, I think I'm going to have to vote Misato Katsuragi. First off, she's one of the very few characters that shows Shinji any affection whatsoever off the bat. I think she cared about Shinji and Asuka both, perhaps as if they were younger siblings. She herself has had a relatively traumatic past, but instead of doing nothing about it, she dedicates herself to the eradication of the Angels. Instead of needing prompting from others to change her life for the better, she goes out and tries to do herself proactively.
I could go on about her, but the goal was to post this so others would start posting stuff too. I'll just post more later or edit this post.

Its a tie between Asuka and Kaworu heart
I love them both equally.
One has irritabiltiy and sarcasm so I am attracted. xd as well as good looks and a body out of this world. Not to mention that she kicked so much a** in EOE that I become a drooling fanboy for days.
The other is just so gosh darn pretty and nice except for that unfortunate kitten accident sad that I can't help but love him.

You know, I thought about adding a poll, but with that many characters and not a ton of posters, it seems like you'd just end up with a lot of characters with no votes...
However, since it was requested, so shall it be added.

There's a long gittish story behind that.
Basically, I've never been able to 'relate' myself to a character before she came along.
So I guess I became fixated by that factor. Of course, I was annoyed with her at first... but at the time it kind of made me realize how mean I was... so in some twisted way she made me ... more bitter, but nicer to those I care about... sorta.

Kaworu Nagisa.. surprise, surprise.
Fangirlish CAUSE HE'S JUST SO CUTE aside, I think he brought a breath of fresh air into the series with his geniune care for others and his seemingly unlimited charm. I can't really add anymore because I really have no idea. Maybe I'll just go with the cause he's just so cute response. biggrin

Gendo....because hes a greedy selfish b*****d like me. ^_^. PLus he totally kicks a**.....at least he would if he ever jumped up and like, karate chopped fuyustki, i bet he could decapitate him with just his bare hand.
other than that....mny least faovirte is Asuka....cuz 1) shes german....2)shes bitchy....3) she dumps poor little shinji and screws up the third impact in doing so.....

Kaworu- umm Shinji...how much longer is this gonna ta..

Kaworu was a good character, and really showed just how evil Anno was. main character's mind becoming a null and void thing. Anno makes Shinji happy. Kaworu's an angel. Shinji kills Kaworu.
the sadistic side in all of us is pleased

I was fine with leaving out Hikari, Naoka, Kihl, Yui (you know, the characters no one'll vote for anyways), but now I'm having to pick actual characters to cut... and I'd rather not have a poll missing characters that someone might want...

but yeah. i think id have to go with Gendo on this one. i just respect the man. of course Kaji is someone id like to be like.
liking whom i can relate with. i think its better if i leave this one out. one of the great things with Eva is that you can relate with just about any character

The whole "Rei I repeated stuff Gendo was saying about me so I choked that b***h to death"? Personally, I mostly hate her for the whole "Being glad Yui disappeared so she could put the moves on Gendo" thing. That was just in bad taste.
