~This takes place in the world of Ioron, in the country of Lavande. Unlike Avaria, this place is more like old-timey England and Ireland with the forests, old-fashioned areas, parks etc..and in the Kingdom of Rolmande, one of the most lush, foresty kingdoms and home to the finest fighting tournaments in Lavande.~
SUMMARY: After being murdered by his wife, X (your character-give him a name) is brought back from the dead as a beast of Londok (explained later) to fulfill a purpose that is unknown to him. He wants revenge on his wife, and his brother as well (the wife led X to believe that his brother wanted him dead as well..which is not true) But also has to fulfill whatever brought him back to life..and of course, there's Lirylle, the boy he loved but turned away in order to marry for title rather than for love. He's unmarried and alone, and X finds himself drawn to the only person he's ever loved. He has one month to fulfill his task..or he'll be dragged back to Lower World (think of it as the Underworld-not Hell).and to make matters worse, Evryn (his brother) married X's wife.~
~Prestory~
X, the Duke of Marseitar has a brother named Evryn (two years younger) and a sister named Theliya. (six years younger) When he was fifteen, he became the Duke upon the passing of his father, who'd been an abusive and cold man. (None of them ever knew their mother, she died while they were young) at twenty-two he married Silvia Hethridge (the wife) and at twenty-three and a half..he died. The last thing he saw was his wife standing over him with a smirk, the woman he'd never loved but had married only for her wealth. She said that at last, she'd be able to marry the true Duke. (Evryon, his younger brother, would become duke if X died) So he knew that she'd killed him (by means of poison) and believed his brother had helped her..
The siblings have always been close, with X doting on Theliya, and coddling Evryn. Evryn, being a boy and closer in age, had also always been the one tagging along with X. He hero-worshipped his big brother, following him around, defending him, emulating him..X in turn adored the boy, teaching him everything from fighting to reading and doing his best to help his brother grow up and never be like their father. (Drinking=a BIG no no, because of their alcohaulic/abusive father)
Meanwhile, aside from his family he had one other friend, a witchling child named Lirylle. He'd once eaten a deadly Juniper berry and lay dying, his brother unable to do anything for him. The witchling orphan had happened by and used his powers to heal X. They'd been a trio ever since, with Lirylle and X being particularly close. And growing older, both fell in love with the other, but as X grew older..he thought more about the fact that he was the next Duke, especially when his father died. And so when this happened, rather than marry Lirylle, he deemed him to be too far below his station and married Silvia. He stopped talking to Lirylle though he knew that Evryn continued being Lirylle's friend. X missed him and loved him, but thought he was doing what was best.
When he'd died, he'd gone to the Evlura (In Lower World-think of the Underworld from Greek mythology), the Evlura is a place for those who are not fully evil that have not yet passed over, either because of unfinished business or they are waiting for someone. He expects to remain there and a year passes, which for him seems like forever in the unchanging Evlura. And then, Londok night comes.
Londok Night (Halloween more or less) represents the night that beasts of Londok came and terrorized several kingdoms, trying to conquer Avaria. They'd disguised themselves as humans to gain better entry and were soundly defeated, but ever since, people disguised themselves as beasts of Londok on Londok Night and party. This is a night for Londok Eve, the night before Londok Night and a time of mystical forces being set in motion..amongst other things. There is no sleep in Evlura, but X lies down..and when next he opens his eyes, he is in another form in the world of the humans with the knowledge that he has been brought back..and that he has unfinished business and one month to take care of it. (the time is subject to change.)
~Prestory End~
~The story will begin with X waking up in the world of living in the form of a beast of Londok. It can be anything, make a monster that looks beastly, make it a person that looks beastly. If you can find a picture, great, if not- just give a description.- Also, when he reverts back to 'his' form, (which will be the next day after he's gone to sleep) he will look like himself but very pale, and he will be very cold to the touch unless someone shares warmth. (kissing for example) In this form, not quite alive but certainly not dead, he is a Ghalvoun. A sort of phantom that can be experienced with all five senses (taste, touch, sight, hearing, smell) but can also go transparent if they wish, passing through solid objects, flying, and going invisible.) He will from then on be able to shift forms at will between the Londok beast and the Ghavloun. (and you can also put additions to it if you like-as in, getting to angry=turning into Londok beast) whatever you want is fine by me.~
~The story will involve love-falling between Lirylle and X, fighting a villian (maybe more than Silvia), trying to break the spell on Evryn (explained in next bit). This isn't all that can or will happen, just some guidelines~
~As for the siblings, Theliya is staying with a friend for a couple of days. Evryn has stayed behind and is now married to Silvia. He was pressured by the peerage to take her as a wife, and knew that she'd cause all sorts of trouble if he did not. And there was the problem of whether the Duke line went to him, or would be left to Silvia and make her a sole Duchess. Under pressure from even the kingdom, he took Silvia as his bride. He was miserable and past the point of caring anymore without his beloved brother.
After X finds Lirylle and they go through the next day (they should stay away from the castle for the day-at night) Lirylle will go to sleep and X will head outside and catch sight of a very familiar face, lying in the grass with a bottle of Maiden's Blood, a very strong liquor that could bring tears from the smell alone it was so strong. And the person drinking, none other than Evryn, breaking rules that had been set by his older brother for ages. Obviously, X is furious and hurt by the brother he thinks betrayed him, but Evryn is still his little brother and he loves him dearly. X should come up and they'll talk a bit, X deciding whether or not Evryn is guilty..and then Evryn will mention marrying Silvia and X should take this to be proof (he's rather angry at present) and in his anger, uses another power he has. The power to turn anyone into a beast of Londok, and while he wanted to change Evryn into an animal..he didn't mean for it to be a Ligarun.
Ligarun's are rare and very deadly, being one means you either have a death warrant or will be locked away in a cage. Feared and hated, there are no exceptions or mercies given to the wolf-like, violent creatures. Turning Evryn into one was basically condemning him to death or life in a cage. X doesn't even know how he did what he did, so he has no idea how to fix what he's done and when his brother explains things further, he should realize that X didn't try to kill him at all.~
~Lirylle and Evryn are mine and X is yours except in flashbacks, otherwise feel free to do anything with any character or just stick to X~
