So I made this story. Tell me what you think about it.
PART ONE:
Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words shall never hurt me.
Boy that would be great if that was true. Summer of 08', boring, lifeless, loveless. I always wished for a summer romance like in one of those corny 1980 movies. I wish my prince charming would just come around the corner, hand me roses, and then we could run away from this crappy town. I closed my eyes and just went to sleep. Maybe, just maybe, tomorrow would actually be good. My phone vibrated. I moaned, and stood up. I cursed under my breath. 8:30 am. The text message said:
Hey, you awake yet? Well get your butt out of bed when you get this and get ready. Me, you and some other people are hanging today. Text back when you get this okay? ttyl!8] Oh joy, whatever. I stepped into the shower. After what was about 30 minutes or so, I started drying my hair, teasing it, getting my contacts in, putting on something that wouldn't say "Look at me, I'm a complete SLUT." or "Look everyone, I'm trying way to hard to get a boyfriend!". I just put on my TDWP band tee, a pair of black and purple zebra striped skinny jeans, my Hello Kitty neckalace, some eyeliner, my studded belt, and grabbed my wallet and my Hello Kitty back pack. I looked in my wallet, $500-$600 or so. I took out a couple hundred. So I only had about 100,200 bucks in my wallet. I stuffed my wallet inside my back pack and put my black converse on. 10:24 am. I take out my phone and flip it open, and reply :
Yeah, uhm I'm all awake and ready. Where are we meeting today .. ? :/ I sighed at shoved the phone back in my pocket. Sarah didn't text back right away, so I tip toed back to the kitchen hoping that I wouldn't wake up my parents. I was in a huge fight with them yesterday you see. I remembered I forgot my iPod, whoops. Luckily I found it on the kitchen table. I cought a glimps of a note behind the coffe maker. What the heck? I quickly opened it anxious to see what it was. It said the folowing words:
i love you..
That's the only thing I saw because I knew my parents hid this. It was probably left in front of the door or something. I dropped the paper aw-struck. Someone, out there, loves me? I bet it's a joke.. Maybe a dream. I pinched myself. Nope, this was reality. I tryed not to get my hopes up because I know that I was going to get hurt later on. I crouched and picked up the note again. Before I could examin it again, my phone vibrated. I looked at it and on the screen it said new message. I flipped it open and it said to come to the mall to meet someone. I looked at the screen of my phone. 10:38 am. The bus comes in 12 minutes.. I quickly slipped on my shoes and ran to the bus stop. Made it just in time. I took out my iPod to keep me entertained. We came to the next stop. Oh my gosh; there, stepped in an angel. His face was so warm and welcoming. His eyes; oh his eyes. They were the prettiest pair I've ever seen. He walked towards me and asked
"I'm sorry, but do you mind if I sit here?" He shot a warm smile at me. He was pointing to the seat next to me. I was so shocked, I just nodded at him. He looked at me again. At the same time we said
"Uhh, so.." I saw his face turning red too. I tryed to shake off the look.
"You can go first." He smiled at me. I blushed and tryed to think of something "normal".
"So where are you headed?" I tryed to smile. He quickly seemed interested.
"To the mall. One of my friends wants me to hang with her and her other friend. I'm kinda nervous because I have no idea who she is.. But I'm hoping she's really nice." That was a coincidence. I had to meet someone too; but it's probably not him.. How could Sarah possibly know this angel face? The bus stopped. We were at the mall.
"I-I never got to catch your name. What was it again?" I spat out. I felt so dorky.
"Justin. Justin Kikimodo. I'm a Euro-Japanese." I looked at his eye's again. Amazing, one of them was a light turqoise, while the other was grey.
"And yours is?"
"Michelle. Michelle Lee."
PART TWO:
We both got up at the same time. Strangley, it seemed like there was no one on the bus. Only Justin and I. I could feel my heart pounding in my chest. Why the heck was I like this?
"You can go first." He took his right hand and pointed to the bus door.
"Thanks." I couldn't help but to smile at him. He smiled back and I felt my heart pounding even stronger this time. I felt my face turning hot again, I quickly ran out the door.
"UGH! Stupid me. That was so rude." I muttered under my breath. I couldn't believe that I just ran off like that without saying good bye, or anything like that. Man, I have no class at all. I went to Jamba Juice. It wouldn't hurt to be just a little bit late. After all, Sarah's probably hanging with another one of her distant cousins and just wants me to meet them so she can brag her family member's achievement in my face. Whatever, that happened only once.. So I guess she wouldn't do it again. After I got my juice, I headed for Hot Topic. I knew she was going to be there so I just sighed and moved along. As I walked through the doors of the mall, I felt eyes staring at me and people snickering at my so called "fashion sense"; whatever. I've learned to deal with it.
Hot Topic was just around the corner, so I just fast walked in and wanted to get the little gathering over with. To my suprise, there he was. The tall, slender, blue-grey eyed Justin. And the funny thing is, Sarah was standing right next to him. I gulped and tryed to stay calm. I was expecting an evil glare from him for ditching him at the bus stop; but instead I got a warm look like this morning. I guess Sarah didn't see me. So I took out my phone and called her.
"Look behind you Sarah." She suprisingly turned around and looked happy immediatley.
"Ahh! Michelle! What took you so long?" She gave me a bear hug. "This, is Justin. Justin Kikimodo. I've known him since the 3rd grade. Let me introduce you two." Wow, Sarah and Justin, since the 3rd grade. I was aww-struck. How could Sarah possibly know him? Oh well. I just went along with her.
"Justin! This, is Michelle. You know the one that I wanted you to meet?" She pointed at me like she was directing a 2 year old.
"Ah, it's you! We already met Sarah. At the bus stop this morning." He turned a little pinkish around the cheeks.
"Y-y-yeah.. We did. We sat next to eachother-" Sarah rudely inturupted me.
"That's great! What a coincidence huh?" Justin and I both nodded our heads trying to avoid eye contact with eachother. And for the first time in my life, I actually thought I was starting to fall in love all over again. But not like a kindergardner crush, a real one. An "Adult-love" crush you might say; but to me, it was just falling in love, head over heals.
PART THREE.
My oh my, the kid I fell in love with is best friends with my best friend. What a coincidence huh. For a second I didn't know where Sarah went for a moment. She was probably off shopping for some band tee's or something. Maybe even some belts. It didn't matter. All that mattered was that I was alone with the most prettiest looking boy I've ever met. My heart started pounding, I could actually hear it. But the funny thing is, I could actually hear his heart beating too. Our eyes met. I think I actually stopped breathing then and there. I didn't want to keep it akward, so I spoke a few words.
"So..Uhm hi. Hahah" Wow, I actually laughed? How dorky. I felt my face stiffen again. Justin actually softened his face though. He seemed more comfortable now that the tension was off. Whew, I thought in my head. Oh no, I felt a huge amount of pressure press against my back. I fell forward because I got accidentaly pushed by surprise. Then, I felt as if I were in heaven, but my face grew red with embarassment.
The idiot who pushed me, pushed me towards Justin. And since I went towards Justin, there it goes, a 30 seccond kiss. Silent, yet so enjoyable like a kiss of heaven.
