I noticed how the main story is just going on, and on. So I thought, "Why not get some fun into it?" 3nodding
The problem with Portal is, it would probably be incorperated into the roleplay, and not seperated from it. So, here is my idea.
Portal, of course, will be in Emania only, and not anywhere else. So if you want to enter into the contest or whatever, you have to travel to Emania. This removes confusion from having several dozen teams, and sticking with only a few. Portal is played with three teams, so if you have three or four main cities in Emania, you have no less than a dozen, and no more than fifteen, maybe eighteen.
When competing in the game, you will have a color assigned, based on which team you are in; one, two, or three. I would say Red, Blue, and Green Furthermore, for each post, you must say what position you are. If you are the referee, then each post that you make will display a three-way score, color-coded, followed by whatever the referee will do in the post. If there is a rule broke, the referee will post the score, followed by the word FLAG, in that color, and an explanation of what rule was broken. This shouldn't be a problem, though, because there aren't that many. whee If there are any fans present(which there will be, no doubt), they will post in the normal black color.
As for prizes, there will no doubt be Ikli handed out. I would think some items would be handed out, as well. Perhaps some weapons and armor? maybe some materials and various knick-kacks. If several games are played in a series, the prizes will be raised in value, and maybe some stat points will be on the line. mrgreen
So, how 'bout it? Maybe we can have a few arenas "under construction" in Ash Coast Town, Desert Town, and some other places. I have to wonder, though, how well would a elf perform? xd
