Just FYI, the Trick or Treat Event yields a total of 8 objects, which are:
Jackster Tunic (top) Jackster Wand (item) Jackster Leggings (bottom) Jackster Face Paint (accessory) Jackster Two-Pointed Hat (hat) Jackster Pointy Shoes (shoes) Jackster Puffy Pants (bottom) Jack O'Lantern (item)
I'm currently wearing everything but the Jack O'Lantern, which is your avatar inside a giant jack o'lantern (alternately inside a giant uncarved pumpkin, or your avatar is replaced by an unlit jack o'lantern, a lit jack o'lantern, or a pumpkin).
To get everything takes a while. You visit every store, collecting candy, but you can't go between stores too fast. I waited about a minute between each store. Collect 14 bits of candy, and the next store will give you an item. Repeat that process over and over until you have all the items.
Or you can run around Towns, collecting candy from the jack o'lantern boxes outside each house. You need to collect 100 that way, then go to any of the center towns (number 5) and trade 100 candies to Jack for one of the items. Takes even longer, since not every box will give you a piece of candy (I never did figure out a pattern there), and each box will only give you one (if any), so revisiting is pointless.
Have fun!

What I do is go back and forth between the halloween battle game and the shops, as both have time gaps.

Ah, I was running around towns in one window, then during the pause between rooms, I'd flip to the other window and visit the next shop. I haven't tried the battle game yet, but I hope to this weekend!

I'm gonna put my strategies for Halloween Hysteria here, so everyone can enjoy. The first one is for the human team.
This is the strategy I've been using, and it might work for you, too, if you're patient. Really, the worst level is the last, going from 7 to 8. It takes freakin' forever to get those 200 xp you need. Here's how I did it.
First off, spend every last XP on increasing your Attack Strength. I know, the others look so tempting, but resist the urge! Attack Strength is what you want, believe me.
So you've reached level 7, and all your XP was poured into Attack Strength. Now what? First pick a battlefield and stick to it. Seriously, don't switch around too much, you'll just waste your time. Then find an opponent and start attacking! Start off using your Level 7 multi-attack, which for humans is the Sissy Barrage. Yeah, I hate the name, too. I've known sissies with mean right hooks. But anyway, this costs 30 energy, and since you've spent all your XP on Attack Strength, you only have a max of 100 energy, which means 3 Sissy Barrages in a row. That's okay, because you don't want to kill your opponent -- it takes too long to find another one!
The Sissy Barrage is 3 attacks, each with a 50% chance of hitting and doing 3-5 damage (no Strength Attack bonus). So you could potentially do 15 damage -- or none at all. But here's the best part: even if all three strikes miss, you still get 5 XP! Well worth it, in my opinion.
But then what? Sit around and wait for energy? Heck no! Now you use your Weak Attack, which costs you nothing. It has a 90% chance to hit, doing 1-3 base damage -- that's 2-6 with the Strength bonus. If you hit, you get 1 more XP. Keep doing that until you've reached 30 energy again, then hit them with another Sissy Barrage. Yeah, it's still going to take an hour or so, but by using the Sissy Barrage every half minute or so, it won't take as long as other attacks might.
See, other attacks, while they have the potential to do more damage, won't give you 5XP guaranteed. You might miss with another attack, and then you've wasted the energy for nothing. Even if all three Sissy Barrage strikes miss, you still get the XP, bringing you 5 points closer to your goal. Trust me, it's worth it.
What if you get killed? Should you run off to the Human Home Base? NO! Stay where you are, because now you have a worthy opponent, one who has attacked you. And you can retaliate! First though, you hafta save up 30 energy for that all-important Turkey Dinner. Stay in the battleground and vote in a poll or two. Then Aid yourself with a Turkey Dinner, which will not only give you 20-35 health, it will also give you 6XP! Then go retaliate against whoever killed you!
Keep at it, and eventually, you'll level up and get the bazooka. Just like me!

Dark Elf!
The strategy is pretty much the same as for Humans -- use your level 7 multi-attack, in this case, Throwing Knives. 3 attacks, each with a 75% chance of doing base damage of 3-6 (no Attack Strength bonus), and even if all three miss, you get 5XP! Then use the Weak (or Medium) attack while waiting for energy to store up again.
You can also use the Level 2 Critical Hit, which has a 90% chance of hitting, doing 6-9 with max Attack Strength, and gives you 3xp. But there's always the slim chance you'll miss, waste your energy, and get no xp. So it's up to you.
Of course, it still takes forever and a day to get from level 7 to level 8 and max out, so it'll be tedious for a while. But the prizes are so worth it! The Dark Elf awards are much cooler, in my opinion, than the human ones.
Tomorrow, I'll fight as a Vampire and try to earn all the cool stuff they get! Yay!

The red eyes are from an evolving item. I'll have to look it up, but I'm thinking it was death Whisperer.
I still like buying up energy, but I use a different strategy from you.

Okay, here's my Vampire strategy. Pretty much the same strategy as before. Use Level 3 Bat Swarm, which costs 25 energy for a 35% chance for each of 10 attacks to do 3-5 damage -- not too shabby. Yeilds 5XP. But wait, there's more! I made a discovery -- you can use it one someone, even if they don't have any Health at all! That's actually better, because then you get 10XP, as though you'd killed them yourself. This discovery made leveling up even faster. I don't know if the other teams' multi-attacks allow you to use them on someone without Health, but I'll find out tomorrow, when I join the last team and become a zombie. I may also try a different strategy with the skill points, possibly buying up Energy, rather than Attack Strength. I'll letcha know how that goes!
Just not a zombie snake, 'cuz they're icky!
Personally, I think I look sexy as a Vampire, but I wasn't attacked even once. Maybe I'm too sexy to attack?
