Spirit: A pretty young woman who was (surprisingly correctly) accused of being a witch and hung during the Salem witch trials. She was caught along with many other women, most of which were actually innocent, found guilty of witchcraft and hung, her own (very small) powers unable to help her.

Appearance :: Average build, and height, Norah has more than her fair share of unusual features. Long, silky midnight black hair, and pretty, milky skin. She also has the ears and tail of a black cat, and a single green kitty-cat eye. Her other eye is missing and covered by a bandage or an eyepatch. Her face is dotted with freckles, and her nose and flat, pink, and cat-like. The palms of her hands, and her feet and tones have cat-like pads on them. She dresses in bright colors and loves scarfs and clothing with stripes.

Personality :: Norah is a scatterbain. She's generally an agreeable easy-to-get-along-with person, but it takes a lot for her to warm up to new people and she won't open up eomtionally unless you've worked to ear her trust. She keeps her feelings close to her vest, afraid of being hurt. On the surface, however, she appears happy and normal. Very messy, she lives in a state of orgnized chaos, she knows where most everything is, but it's still messy.

  Salem Witch Trials
The Salem witch trials were a series of hearings before local magistrates followed by county court trials to prosecute people accused of witchcraft in Essex, Suffolk, and Middlesex Counties of colonial Massachusetts, between February 1692 and May 1693. Over 150 people were arrested and imprisoned, with even more accused who were not formally pursued by the authorities. The two courts convicted twenty-nine people of the capital felony of witchcraft. Nineteen of the accused, fourteen women and five men, were hanged.
Largely, the trials were the result of mass hysteria, brought on by the play-acting of a group of silly little girls. Most of the people were innocent bystanders who were somehow accused to consorting with the devil. Among the number however, the mobs managed to snag a single real witch. Norah Bishop was not a very powerful witch at all, but she was a mean crass old woman who'd never married and preferred her solitude. She was captured by the mob, and after a speedy trial, hung.
