I have a suggestion, why not make this Guild private, that only the members can read what is written here, as the Captains Guild was, so it can be a bit more Private!!!!!!!! 3nodding

This guild is private... -.-
And the captains guild was hidden from the registry and set to hidden so
that no one but captains can access it... I think it was hidden from the
registry... Yeah Im sure of it...
But I know it was set to hidden so that only members can get in it...

We used to be HIDDEN and the members voted to make it PRIVATE. We have nothing to hide from other Gaians, but only members can post here.
There was lengthy discussion about it, and we decided that if we could help other crews around Gaia, it would be a good thing. Also, being hidden was causing problems with people finding us and joining. The Captain's guild was HIDDEN and that was fine, but we are here to help people, not keep people away or have new crew members do inappropriate things.
Our purpose is to aid and assist, not hide from everyone.
I hope this answers your suggestion.

Rita, thank you for clearing that up for me.
I find hidden guilds a bit ... suspicious. I mean, what are they hiding?
I like that this guild is Private rather then hidden.

Going Private was a big step for us. It revealed our existence :3 The Captain's Guild was hidden to prevent random join requests, and also because they had a link there with your status. We didn't have that, so we had to go private to get ourselves out there.
