Already, Shadow was starting to regret coming here... sure, the museum was interesting, and he loved to come and look at things. But at the same time... he really should have anticipated all the stuff that Fiosdae could get into here. He'd had to keep such a close eye on the child that he hadn't yet gotten to really enjoy looking at things.

Huh. Maybe he should invest in one of those baby-leashes. But if he did, Fiosdae was likely to find a way out of it in five minutes flat.

Now, the tiny thief had decided to flop down on a bench, keeping a tight grip on one of the kid's tails - right near the end. It might seem a bit of a cruel thing to do, but it worked as well as anything else. And if it hurt to yank away, Fiosdae wasn't likely to try so hard. That didn't, however, stop him from voicing his discontent with the situation. Loudly.

"Shadoooooooooooow I wanna look at dino'aurs!" he whined, tugging kind of half-heartedly against his keeper's grip. He'd found out rather quickly that if he got annoying enough, Shadow would sometimes give in and let him have his way, even when it wasn't the best of ideas.

Not today, though. Shadow raised a brow. "Can you promise not to touch them? Or try to climb on them?"

Pout. "But tha's no FUN! They look like toys, I wanna play!"

Shadow smiled faintly. "Then we're not going. Anyway, you already saw them. We walked past those like ten minutes ago. And before you ask, no I will not get you a bone to take home."

He'd made the mistake ONCE of filching something that Fiosdae asked for in the store - just playing around. He really saw nothing wrong with stealing, as it was ... more or less ... his religion. But now the kid had the idea he would just take anything that was asked for, for no reason. And that it was easy to do so. Sorry... no go on that one.

At that, though, Fiosdae looked back at Shadow and started his lip trembling, eyes widening in a pitiful sort of look. Oh great... he was going to cry now.

Shadow winced at that, head snapping up to see just what was making that awful noise, bright eyes wide for a moment.

The sound even startled Fiosdae enough that his own tantrum was cut off at the quick, the toddler whirling about, just as wide-eyed as his guardian.

Then Shadow blinked when he spotted the kid making all the noise. Oh dear... looked like another one of the kids from from the Society, probably. 'Cause really, what normal kid had a scorpion tail.

Shadow peered down mildly at Fiosdae. "If you ever make that kind of noise, I think I might have to strangle you," he murmured.

By that point, however, Fiosdae decided that he'd had enough of this - and while Shadow was distracted by the other guardian and child, he turned around and tugged his tail out of Shadow's grip - then ran off toward the dinosaurs, laughing.

"s**t!" Shadow blurted, popping up to his feet. Then he turned to the other guardian a bit wide-eyed. He had to catch the kid before he destroyed something!

"Dino'aurs~ dino'aurs~!" Fiosdae sang out happily as he toddled off toward his favorite exhibit ever, just happening to go right past Amanae and Tierre on the way.
