Where do we RP?
Make a thread in one of the tribe subforums. Remember to put ORP,PRP, or ASK in your thread titles.
Are the guardians real humans?
Yes? They are regular human inhabitants of Elohino, just like us with no powers or anything like that. Though there has been the odd one (can you say quest? dun dun dun)
Can the guardians and their totem spirits understand each other?
Can guardians understand other totem spirits that aren't their own?
Yes and no. It depends how you want to play your characters.
I tend to think of it as the capability of the "Guardian"
Ones more attuned to the spirits and the like have an easier time understanding their totem and perhaps other peoples totems, while those who are not that great at it, probably can only speak or just sense the feelings of their own totem.
But that's just my take on it. Up to you really! 8D
Can the totem spirits understand the trees?
In general yes, but same as above. Some are just more capable than others or up to your preference.
I place my Nico pretty low on that capability ladder XD

Can one roleplay both the guardian and totem spirit as two seperate beings?
Yea, they are separate beings to begin with. ^_^
The totem, and then their human guardian. Usually the guardian is someone from the tribe who was deemed worthy enough to protect the totem in it's vulnerable early stages.
Then when they grow up, it's up to you to determine their relationship
(equal partnership, owner and totem pet, totem master w/human servant rofl, etc.)
When they reach Symbiosis (elder stage) that's when they sort of become one character.
But again, up to the player (can be separate entities just sharing one body).
As the totem spirits grow quickly, do the guardians grow at the same pace, or do they mostly stay the same through the totem spirits growings?
Again, up to you. ^_^
Though I think of a Real-Time month as equal to ~yr. Elohino time if you want to be a bit more realistic.
RL growing sched (more or less):
1-2 weeks as totem
2-3 weeks emerged
3+ weeks young/adolescant
To reach adult, person has to stop by shop frequently and/or RP in guild.
So that's around 1-2 years+ in Elohino time for a totem to grow.
