I'm curious about the time these things are taking place, as Karee brought up recently. Is it 2008? I was going for a more 90's time frame, more specifically pre-9/11. Anyhow, discuss your thoughts.
I also have a separate but sorta-related thing. I've been working on a historical time line for Maren and I have been putting 'events' down as they happen to the Immortals. Vampire Civil war, and a few others. I'm curious as to when the Lycan/Vampire war began, it can't have been very long since Silver had a pre-war Vampire friend and S told Wenda that he was turned about 15 years ago.
If anyone's interested in the timeline tell me, and I'll post what I've got so far. Its mostly things that pertain to Maren's history with crossover with Trevor/Vlos and a pinch of Ninak. I also have notes as to the structure of Lilith's family tree, which Silver might find usefull for Alluvian.
xd But yeah. What time are we about at?

The year is supposed to be current, though human events really don't affect the immortals all that much. I'm sure in some areas they do, but if you've ever been to LA...everyone is sorta oblivious.
As for when the Lycan/Vampire war...originally it was five years previous, but since we've about covered a year in the guild, i'd say six years previous. I'll probably need to edit their ages if I had S say 15 years...let's just say Silver and S are in their thirties, while still being 18...a bit bulky, older-looking eighteen. And Derek is three years older than Silver and S, not physically though.

Well, story-time we've actually got about two and a half years done at this point. It depends what you go by, though. Wenda-time, which I use a lot since she died just before the first major plot-battle at By The Sword has her at about two years seven months dead. Vala is one year old, plus nine months and the build-up for the aforementioned battle sets up for about two years, three months time. I would say at least two years, though. Hey, would S be older than Silver due to Silver's lost time? lol Poor guy. He's the youngest middle of three.
Another edit needed to be made is the matter of S's reaction to Wenda's blood. By my current definition of Vampire blood, S only ingested his own blood from Wenda's lips. She'd have to have accidently bitten her lip or tongue, a rather likely thing considering she's still not quite used to her teeth. But yes. That needs to be added as well whee
