Well, I swore I wouldn't... but I'm going to anyway. Here's the link for the Funimation site where all us Ouran fans can go and listen to what was done to our precious Ouran. Honestly, aside from Tamaki's voice, the english dub of the songs (Yes.... it was dubbed as well), and the fact they can't say Tamaki at all... I actually enjoyed it. But I will let you all see for yourself. Let me know what you think....

I am not a fan. Especially of the guy that does Kyouya's voice. >.> *grumbles* I need to make sure my secret police will take him out. And maybe the other voice actors too....

I hate everything about it >.< Ok well not everything...if you mute it and put up captions then it's just as good as subbed! But the voice actors are wrong, they're just plain WRONG!
And why'd they have to redub the opening and ending songs? They don't sound as good as the originals AT ALL.

Because Funimation is the next lowest level of Dubbing companies besides 4Kids.
They don't destroy the entire show, just our eardrums with bad casting choices and poorly dubbed music.
It's a conspiracy.

Oh, gee, I don't even want to click on that site. But I have a morbid curiosity to see what it is like.
Edit: Plenty of dubs keep the old song. Why couldn't they have?
Though, honestly, if not for the fact that I had already watched the Japanese, their utter butchering of the names, the way the hosts speak, and the songs, the dubbing would be fine! biggrin

Seriously they just butchered the entire sound quality. My friend and I recently remembered that it was being released next week and we don't know if it's a box set or DVD-by-DVD. Anyone else know?
Still, I shudder to think of JUST the opening and ending music. That's awful!
(*cough*4Kids wasn't bad when they still had Pokemon*cough*)

It's a part one of two box set. This will contain the first 13 episodes. And no matter how bad the dub is... it will be professional with subs... so I'm getting it.

I bought it. The only voices that are OK are Haruhi's and Kyouya's voices. So yeah changing audio seems to be routine for me now, but at least I can finally see it on a big screen instead of tiny YouTube.

I don't mind the dub, but it could've been better. They ruined Tamaki's voice -.-" And they really can't say Tamaki at ALL, as previously stated. I liked Haruhi's voice, but meh... everyone seems to hate it when things are translated into English. The original is always best, but there's nothing wrong with things being in English. As I stated earlier, I don't mind the dub. They shouldn't have been so careless with their voices though. Half of them didn't fit.
