Ok, me and my fiance already planned to not have sex until marriage. Easy, right? Well, when he came over the other night, we were laughing and being ourselves. We started kissing. Before I know it, we have almost gone too far. We realized how dangerous this was, so he is going to buy condoms just in case we do go too far. It would be foolish to say there is not a chance of doing that. What are suggestions to keep yourself from having sex when you spend the night and live with each other half the time? Has anyone else here experianced this?

It's really hard not to have sex during your engagement period. But! It is possible. We just kept saying to each other, that it's more important that we get married and then have sex, instead of letting our emotions getting the best of us. Definitely there were times where I had to like run away. xD Lol. Or throw water on someone, cough, cough, me, but we made it. :3 It was important to us to wait for sex. Sooo... when we would spend the night with each other... >>;; My sister usually was there with us. o-o; And I don't know about you, but it's really hard to even attempt to be sexy when yer baby sister is talking about anime with your finance... It's just not gonna happen.
But, ya, I would just keep telling him/yourself that is it important to wait, it will be so fulfilling on your honeymoon to know that you kept yourself for that special night. So, ya. biggrin You can do it!

Yes, that is a good idea, staying around our family. That would definately prevent it. Or my best friend. She knows the situation, maybe she could be with us on all our dates and we could all spend the night together. It makes me happy that someone else could do it. That really encourages me.

My husband and I also waited until we were married to have sex. It was something we had talked about, in depth, and a decision we made together. I was in my last year of college, he was working an hour away, we knew it would cause extra/unneeded strain in our relationship. So we just didn't have sex. Some nights it was harder than others, but honestly it wasn't that hard. I had gone 21 years with out having sex, what was a few more months? I'm glad we waited until our honey moon to cross the sex line. I will never regret that.

I honestly didn't wait to have sex until my wedding night, but...yeah. No regrets, but I think it's cool you want to. More power to you!
We did abstain for the last couple months to make our wedding night more special though smile
