Zoe waiting in front of Hula Bob's Tiki Bar and Grill. She had in her arms a picnic basket and a blanket. She knew it was full of goodies Hula Bob had made for her. This made the angel smile. The smile was a nice one as she was a bit scared of another date. At least this time she already knew he was a nice guy. Still, there was a mist around her case from her nerves.

Okay Shage, you can do it. Worst comes to worst, you're already friends. Can't change that. He still was wound as tight as a spring as he approached hula bobs, his breath catching at a glint of pink. There she was. The male softly smiled before picking up his pace slightly, hiding his gift behind his back. "Its good to see you again Zoe." The male spoke sweetly, honestly as he stopped two feet away from the angel. "You're just as beautiful as when I left you last." With that, he smoothly brought out his gift. A bouqet of wildflowers, saved from the oncoming chill of fall to create a mesh of purple, blue, pink and white. To match Zoe of course.

Zoe blushed and smiled. "You look nice too. Oh, thank you. They are beautiful." She took the flowers from Shageki and smelled them. They smelled nice too. Sure her grandma always said to beware of the boy who brings flowers, but she knew Shageki already and didn't worry about it. "So, where should we start? The gates?"

The male smiled a touch brighter. She liked them. He nodded smoothly. "Good thing its a beautiful day out. Should be a nice walk." He held out his arm for her to take or not, ever the gentleman. It was automatic by now, his teachings from Tristen having been when he was but a child. "Shall we be on our way?"

Zoe smiled. "Okay." She took his arm with the one hold ing the flowers as the other was holding the food. She wrapped her arm in his and then smelled the flowers one more time. "You are right it is a nice day." She said as she began to walk. Where would they go? It was be interesting to find out.

He smoothly moved in step with the female, angling both of them towards the city he had previously mapped out in his head. Thanks to the big map hanging in headquarters. It really helped. "So how is everyone? Ducky and Hula bob and everyone, I mean." Nice, light conversation for their walk.

"Everyone's good. Ducky's kids are getting big. Hula Bob well, I think something big is going on with him. I havent' seen him in a while. My Grandma is working hard and my mom and dad are having fun being married. I think they are doing well. How about your family?" She walked in a pace with Shageki.

"I haven't seen Junior in forever." He admitted, feeling a bit guilty. Truth be told, he hadn't seen a lot of his family, everyone branching off to their corners of the world. "Tristen is busy setting everyone in the family up with dates...Dad mainly mopes around, missing mom. Cressida is..." He blinked, looking at Zoe. She was the very definition of springtime in his eyes. "You havent met Cressida yet, have you? She's mine and Juniors little sister. Not the most social thing...Amara would love her."

"It does seem like everyone is happy and living their lives. I guess that's wonderful for them." Zoe didn't mean to have a slight sarcastic tone, but she did. She loved her family, but hated the feeling of being left behind.

The male winced, hearing the sarcasm mostly because he felt the same sting too. The only pae he really ever loved had dissapeared long ago, leaving him to watch his family grow without self contribution. "One day, we'll raise a family of our own." He never mentioned together or seperately, knowing better then the assume one way or the other. He'd known Zoe for as long as his brother and her sister had been together, though only had sat and talked twice. She was beautiful, and intelligent. Too good for likes of him. When one thought spring, never did they think night. He reached over with his spare arm and patted her hand reassuringly, flashing an almost charming smile. "meanwhile, we'll keep being emergency babysitters." Not that he had any clue if Zoe was, but Junior for one used to let his little ones crawl all about him while he talked to ducky.

Zoe smiled warmly to Shageki. "That's right. And then when we one day have kids they can repay us by babysitting them. That will be great pay back." She then giggled at her plan. Sure, that might have been way off but she did believe that everyone would find someone in the end. Or at least she hoped deep down.

His smile turned into a grin as he nodded, looking ahead of them as they entered the woods. Not too much farther now. "Definitely." Deep emerald eyes flicked to the light blue sky through orange bangs. "You'll be a fantastic mother."

Zoe looked at him a blushed a little mist. "Oh, well thank you. I'm sure you will make a good father. I think we have both had a lot of practice." This made her laugh a little. That's what babysitting could be counted as if you really thought about it.

He flashed a bit of a grateful grin towards zoe, taking the compliment and tucking it into his mind. "Ya think?" He always wanted to have a son of his own to toss around... Even his Uncle Raken had a daughter, and he didn't support love! "When I was young, my father and mother sent me and Junior to my uncles place. Dad used to call it 'learning how to be a gentleman.'" He laughed softly at the memory. His dad was a total goof ball, but he couldn't ask for a better one.

"Ah, so that's why you are so good at it." Zoe winked as she meant it, but it was also a joke at the same time. "I just hung around my Grandma who has had her heart stomped on so often she tried to teach me the signs of someone who doesn't love me." It was an odd lesson, but a good one too.
