Here you can ask any questions about the lessons. When you ask questions please put the lesson number at the top of your post.
PLEASE only post in this Japanese topic.
I will edit your post with an answer, and, if need be, add the point to the lesson.

I have a question that pertains to everything in general... is there anyway to make the Japanese bigger when you post? I'm kinda... blindish?

Mand, I'md REALLY blindish. I can't really read it either, but I can't really read anything on gaia.
I could resize it, but every "small" letter has to be resized individually, so it would be a pain. It was the first time. And lessons would really streatch pages out. I have a couple of suggestions for you to try, and if you don't like/can't use them, I'll go through and enlarge them for you.
1. Copy/paste to word and enlarge it to whatever size you like. It should transfer ok.
2. If number one is too much of a pain, and you own a PC (I don't know if it works on Macs) Just click on the page, hold Ctrl, and scroll up on your mouse's center button/scroll wheel (if you have a laptop that scrolls when you run your finger down one side, that works too) It should enlarge the page for you. You can go as big or small as you want to.
Try these and if you're still having trouble, let me know. Okay?

Arigatou gozaimasu! I opted for the 2nd option, I'm too lazy to copy and paste into word.

My next question, will romaji be available for the lessons after they are finished? I'm actually doing all of this by hand, so instead of reading the vocab and phrase i pretty much practiced recognizing the symbols by writing it out in romaji. I just want to see if I did things correctly or not.
And oh gods my handwriting is atrocious!

lol. I can add the romanji in. I won't be able to represent small tsu very well, but I can work something out.
I was planning to write the "answer key" but what I posted took me like six hours and I was tired. I have a test on Tuesday, so don't kill me if I don't start on it until after that.

That's fine and small tsu could be shown like in the example, as a "."?

I'll probably stick with it. Sorry I haven't posted it yet. I'm studying for this test. I just found out they cancelled the final, so its worth more now. I haven't translate the thing I promised to for Megumi yet iether, and I feel really bad, but will get to both things soon.

So I was browsing my oh so handy English-Japanese dictionary and now I have a question about small tsu - some of the words in your list from it are given double consonants in my dictionary for the romaji. So, small tsu equals a double consonant when written in romaji? Is that maybe a better example for it in romaji rather than the "- . -" example?

Possibly. Writing romanji is kind of regional, I no some people who won't put the extra n in things like "konna" (this) for example. The thing is we were never allowed to write romanji, so I'm not very good at it. Like I said, its best just to forget the romanji altogether and only write with Japanese characters. Plus, the double consanant looks kind of weird to me.

Ah see, I use romanji in a lot of my RP posts, like in any anime RP I'm in that doesn't go by a dub. It's also how I started learning the language. For me it's helpful with pronunciation (as is music).

That makes sense, and its the case with most people who just pick up the language. But we had like three weeks just on the alphabet, so I had it down before I really knew anything else.
Its strange to think how much I've learned in just a few years. Especially in the last few months living in the country.

Yeah, it helps because animelyrics.com only shows romaji or kanji and I don't know any kanji except for maybe "Ai", as I believe that's te one tattooed on Gaara's forehead in Naruto.
