6:50 A.M. the surgery team bursts into my room and turns on the lights.
I was sleeping. So when the lights turn on, I jump up and see four people surrounding my bed.
One of them was already in my room 25 minutes before. mad
My surgery is at 12:40. Am I scared? Secretly yes, but it will be my fourth surgery. I've had my tonsils and adnoids out, wrist surgery, then gall stone removal. So this should be like second nature to me. NOPE. Nervous. But I can't wait for the feeling of three seconds to pass when I'm asleep. (If anyone had surgery, you know when you don't remember falling asleep then wake up in seemingly seconds) xd My favorite thing. YAY!
So yeah. I'm waiting for my dad to get here at 10 so I can not be so bored. Hopefully the beta test is going on still. It kicked me off last night. Lame!
Oh and I want to play Sonic and Need for Speed Underground. It's just a thing of me having to wobble over to the game system with my IV stand that I seem to almost rip my IV out every 6 seconds.
I'm rambling. Sorry!

Feel free to ramble! You're in the hospital for Pete's sake! Well, I'm certain you'll be fine. Did you get any morphine? I hear it's practically orgasmic. GET YO'SELF SOME MORPHINE!
Yah, those IV's really bug me. They twist and feel uncomfortable every time I tried to move. But what was even worse was the tape they use to adhere it. DEAR GOD. THAT s**t DOES NOT COME OFF. I PRETTY MUCH HOWLED WHEN I HAD TO HAVE IT PULLED OFF MY ARM. GAAGHH...

Jeepers Lady, ramble as much as you want. There's nothing wrong with that. In fact, I'd be worried if you only made short "BRB, @ hospital" kinda posts. XD

She mentioned in her post about when she was in the hospital that the morphine wasn't doing her any good... Besides, it doesn't stop the pain. It just stops you caring about it. Opiates are weird like that.
I have a very close friend who's been on Gabapentin for ages thanks to his arthritis that he's had since he was a teenager (he's only a few years older than me and I'm only 27 this november. D: ) and his ******** up knee, and Gabapentin's a few steps below morphine. It's addictive stuff apparently, but it makes him veeery floaty and unable to concentrate on anything. Including the pain, but also including ANYTHING. It basically knocks him flat out. Poor guy.
But yeah, Morphine, overrated. It's about the only effective pain blocker for very serious pain though.

Flat on his back huh? Is he a rather skinny guy? Perhaps it works kinda like alcohol...

Nope. He is not a skinny guy at all. :/ As a matter of fact most painkillers don't even work on him because his metabolism is too great. Viruses and stuff? He'll get symptoms for a day or so, really bad, then bam he'll be fine again. His metabolism is that crazy. But he's still not a small guy.
