The Boo bash!
The Halloween dance is going to be held on the week of Halloween ( an exact date will be determined soon) Come and join us as we dance the night away! Its Sadie Hawkins, so ladies go round up your men and don't forget to come in costume! Gold Prizes are being given out for various categories! Don't have a costume on gaia? Don't worry! Post a picture of you in your Halloween costume for this year and you could win some gold too!
The dance will take place on Thursday, October 26th, starting at 6pm EST and will end November 3rd at 3am (thats midnight PST people)
ANNOUNCING! THE BOO BASH PUMPKIN KING AND GHOUL QUEEN! thats right! You heard it here! We need to vote for the boo bash King and Queen. So how does this work? Well to be elligible you have to have a date (on the couples list thread) out of those couples attendies will choose the boo bash king and queen. Got it? Good! First couple to 25 votes will win!
Contests
For the Avatar Costume Contest:
Your avatar must wear your costume, no gaia avatar sims, or avatar edits, judging will take place through a poll on Friday the 27th. The winner will be the first to get 25 votes.
For the IRL Costume Contest: Since most people don't wear their halloween costumes until Halloween, we will be accepting photo submissions through the 4th of October (Friday Night at Midnight EST). Judging will be done the same way as the Avatar Costume Contest, that being first person to 25 votes wins.
How to Enter
On the night of the dance there will be a thread. Contestants who want to enter the avatar costume contest, post there with a picture of your current costume (on your avatar- we will have mods watching for cheaters!- If you have questions on how to do this please pm Elpinoine!
For the IRL Costume Contest: Entrants will post their pictures in a thread (that will be made for this) ^.^

The in real life costum contest. (that's what I voted for) but the real winner is
THE CANDY!!!!!!!!!
I've trick or treated up til last year and maybe I'll go to the houses on just one street this year ^>^. Amanda and I are going to make a graveyard (they have such kewl grave stones) and lay out there and jump up and scare people!!!!! Except for really little kids. Cus that would be just mean. We did it last year it was great!!!!!!!!

The IRL costume contest has got to be the best idea i heard about this event. Im impressed that Seyla could come up with it ^^!

I voted for IRL costume contest. >_
I remember last year. My best friend and i were panda bears, we had pillows stuffed on our suits so we can look plump and were drew panda eyes (you know those black spots around there eyes) with our eyeshadow. I remember tripping on a stick and rolling down a hill. My friend chased after me and she tripped. joiing my roll. It was quite fun. ^_^
After that. We went to the movies (not as pandas) and saw The Grudge which scared the jeevies out of me. I'm still sensitive of that movie.

Bleh, not really excited about the IRL costume contest considering that I stopped trick or treating a long time ago (Seriously, I stopped in like 5th grade) But just like what Rene proudly shouted out, I am more interested in the CANDY!!! However seeing other people in their costume can be quite amusing xd

I'm definitely interested in the guys comin' lol. And I'm in 12th grade and I still trick or treat...I know it's sad but it's fun too. I mean..It's free candy!!!

ha ha yes. I'm a junior in hs and I still do it with friends to. I mean come on FREE CANDY! My friend has this awesome costume. I'm trying to mix mine up a bit, since I'm using my grease costume from last year (poodle skirt, sweater, converse etc) but I wanna twist it up. Maybe I can go gothic grease and use a black sweater top, then have some black angel wings (I can borrow um from my neighbor who used um last year) XD or who knows I might do something else entirely XD

Hee hee..Im being a gothic nurse!! XD I got it early just in case it got taken. Im looking for red and black stripped high socks.
.........hmm..boys..candy... Im going to a halloween party.But thats later on in night!!So the candy stealing shall begin!!!

I wish it was warmer here so I could have a fun costume, but I usually have to wear something with layers so I don't freeze to death. If it weren't for all the free candy I would stay home, but it's so hard to pass up. xd

Well we will get one couple set up soon....whenever the Ceron event finishes....anyways I think the Boys/Girls on ria will be the best.....I expect to see some humor here! Espescially if the Accident Prone Duo is at the dance....

Lol last year was hooker year between my friends XD all I have to say is, short skirts, knee high boots etc. XD
