Jishin's life had gone pretty well. Now that she was with a lioness that was teaching her to be better. Though still, she couldn't help her bitterness to others she didn't know. They had picked up another half-breed as herself, yet she really didn't know what he was yet. She thought he was a lion, just like the other one she had seen that looked just like him. She was now an adult, and helping the lioness threw her pregnancy. Though, sometimes she needed time on her own.
Jishin was out for a walk, while Siti slept. It was a good time for a walk, and she really needed to get out on her own. Space was good. Everyone needed it now and then.

Akeldama was out hunting for any source of a good meal. Her red ears flicked back at every sound that was made by other creatures or the wind. She was making very little noise. It had to be perfectly silent to be able to hear her moving through the tall grass. The female cheetah loved hunting at night better than the day time. It was currently growing darker, the sun was wanting to set, but hadn't made up its mind. Akeldama's red eyes glanced up at the sun. It currently rested a little bit above the horizon.
Now her mind focused on what might lie ahead. Hopefully something big, but not too big. Something to feed the pride and have left overs. Her ears flicked furiously as she searched.

Jishin had noticed a black spot in the distance, but ignored it. It could have been anything. And plus, she wasn't one to really care who enters her area. Her tail lashed as she walked. Thinking of what possiblities could happen, still, with her and Siti. And the new leopon who had joined their group. Of course, Jishin still thought him as a lion rather a leopon. She sighed and continued to walk towards the black thing in the distance. Of course she only saw bits of it, so it wasn't like she knew if it was a creature or some other random black object.

Not noticing the brown female in the distance, Akeldama, continued walking. She didn't have much on her mind. Soon it would become dark enough for her to find food easily. The cheetah growled slightly as she continued walking around to waist time. By walking around, she stretched her muscles and warmed them up for when she would unleash her full speed on whatever would try to run away from her and leave her emptied pawed.

Jishin got closer, curious of the other. She'd seen a cheetah before, but not one with such an attitude. Someone like herself in away. Yet, their lives couldn't be more different. She neared her. "You are in a bad area." She spoke to the other in a crude voice. She could act like this place was a pride pretty easily. "You should turn now, or suffer." She simply said. She wanted to see how the other would react to her threats.

Akeldama ignored the other's statement. She didn't see any threats other than the small female in front of her. This female didn't seem to be much of a threat to the cheetah. There had been a few things she learned from the male that attacked her the first time she entered a pride. This female standing before the cheetah wasn't stronger than Akeldama was, or she didn't believe the other female was.

Jishin growled at the female who seemed to ignore her. True, Jishin wasn't the strongest thing out there, but she wouldn't be ignored so easily. Plus, there was a female and a cub sleeping she had to act like she was protecting them, right? "You don't believe me? Shame. I would thing someone like you wouldn't want to get more scratches upon your face." She said noticing her face with the scars on it. She didn't see her other scars, but didn't really care.

Akeldama growled at the female. The scars were a reminder of her place in the pride. She didn't have many scars, but still had some. She was in a higher rank of the pride. A hunter to some prides. "I'm trying to hunt." She said with a slight hiss at the other female. Her ears pinned back as she lashed her tail around, which she learned could be used as a weapon.

"This is no place to hunt, we've chanced off the food here earlier this morning." She spoke the truth. They had been a heard of zebras that Siti had hunted down. Everyone had eaten and then fallen asleep. Which Jishin, when waking up took the time to have a bit of time to herself. Which showed that she'd wasn't going to after all. Pity it was, but no worries she'd get over it soon enough. It was what you had to live with when traveling with others.

Akeldama growled, not to the female, but at the lack of food. Frustrated, she looked around the land. This female didn't seem of any use to her or the pride. "Where is food?" She asked, hoping the female knew more about the land than Akeldama, who was still coping. She hadn't been in this land very long, so she didn't know where the good food was located or what all there was around. The only purpose this female served was to become food, but she looked as though she had a lot of energy, unlike the cheetah.

"They moved west from here. Other then that, I haven't a clue." She told the female. Winter was coming so fast, that food was harder and harder to find, but it was still there. They were having as much trouble as the creatures they fed. "I don't think you'll catch up to them unless you run. Because it was serval hours ago." That's all she could really tell her. It wasn't like Jishin was to fallow the creatures to know every move they were to make.

Akeldama nodded her head, also realizing about how hard it would be to find the food. The creatures would soon be sleeping and she could catch them that way. Run for a while then walk then run and take a break. She growled at the thoughts then Flicked her ears towards what the other was saying. Winter would soon make it harder to feed the cubs and the mothers who watched over the cubs.

"There are hares around here somewhere" She started to say. "If that helps" She told the other. Trying to help, but she didn't know why. It was mostly because her father was a cheetah, and he was very kind and someone she looked up to. The female here, was cheetah too, but wasn't as nice. but she hadn't attacked Jishin yet, so it was perfectly alright. Jishin wasn't one to complain on moods, since she wasn't one that was very happy most the time.

Akeldama looked around. Hares weren't what she wanted. There was a rather big pride to feed. The only reason she would kill a hare was to feed herself so she could find better food for the pride. After making a plan, the cheetah took off as fast as she could towards the Zebra's the other female was talking about. Hopefully there would be enough to feed the whole pride, including herself.
