Life had been easy for Narhari as of late. Peace upon the world he walked, or that he had seen. His purple fur seemed to stand out very well in this area, he'd never been. It was close to a pride, he could smell. Or at least a male who'd gone crazy will marking the area around here. So he had to be careful. As long as he didn't enter the land, he'd be just fine.

Or that's what he thought. Flicking his long tail with white fluff, he decided it was time for a little rest. Seeing a nice tree, he decided he'd just lay under it. The wind was breezy and slightly cold, telling anyone that winter was just around the corner. Oh, he hoped that it wouldn't be too bad. He didn't like when winter was bad to where he couldn't find food, though it did mean more sick animals to pick off from.

Akeldama had become part of a new pride. She laid on a small rock that kept her comfortable and made it to where she could see more. The elevation was nice to the cheetah. Her black and red tail lazily swung behind her, until she caught the scent of someone far too close to the pride lands for her to be comfortable.

As a part of the hunters of the pride, Akeldama was always on the search for food. This bright colored lion would keep the small pride full for a little while. It would give her enough time to relax then find food. She smirked as she jumped down from her rock and began to head towards the purple lion.

Narhari was oblivious on what could actually happen. In fact, he didn't even see the black and red cheetah moving towards him. His day was totally perfect, or at least it had been the last couple of hours. Having spent a long time thinking about what he would do in a pride that had yet to forum, but was still forming. He was good at knowing the land. knowing everything about every plant. and that's what he was doing now. He was trying to get to know this land better. Of course he was a little bit, maybe even more, away from his own lands in which the pride was to be formed.

He was never told how big it was, at least not yet. Of course, they'd have to get more who wanted to stick around to be considered a pride at all. He lashed his tail about not irritatingly, just out of boredom. He had a nice smile upon his gorgeous white and purple face. He was well kept and looked very much like he could be female with a mane. Yet if one became closer, they'd notice his male looks.

Akeldama crouched down and began to stalk after the male that was being lazy under a tree. The cheetah watched the male closely. He wouldn't be useful for the pride other than producing cubs and becoming a meal. She looked at his markings and decided he probably wasn't worthy of having her cubs. Too high of standards? Most likely. The cheetah female approached the male, not caring if he heard her or not.

Narhari finally noticed the female, but didn't know what she was doing. He stood up and smiled at her kindly. "Well, welcome fair lady of the grass." he said cause she was low within the grass. He had no clue that he could be her "Dinner". He watched her curiously for a few seconds and thought that starting a conversation might be good. "My name is Narhari, and Might I ask what your's is?" He asked her kindly. He'd never think that a female would attack him in a million years.

Dama watched the male for a moment. From the beginning she already knew that he wouldn't be strong. He was more worried about becoming friend with others rather than making himself stronger. She looked for his weak spots. Most decided on the throat, which was what she also aimed for, but it was harder with those that had extra fur around their necks, she learned after trying to attack the leader of the pride she was in.

She didn't speak. Narhari became very uneasy. He stood up finally. He was strong, but he wouldn't ever hurt a female at all. Nor would he even fight any creature. He loved the world, and wouldn't want to disballance it more then it already was with corruption of fighting. "Now..... Nice cheetah." He said as he started to back away from her. "I don't mean any harm, no need to try to do anything you'd regret" He told her Trying to sound like he might actually attack back.

Akeldama crouched down and growled slightly. Even though this male could probably be stronger than Thona, who easily beat the female, she didn't believe he would hurt her. In one swift movement, she jumped at him, her claws out and she aimed her fangs towards whatever they could latch onto. Why was he speaking to her as if she were some dog? This only made the female grow more furious.

As she jumped, he jumped back and turned to try to get away. He didn't want to end his life so soon, and he wasn't going to fight back, the only thing was to run. Though, she was a cheetah, they were faster then he could ever be. But could they turn as fast as he could? He ran as fast as he could, looking behind him every so often to see where she was. Threw his mind, he thought she'd kill him if he gave her a chance. Oh god, what was going to happen?

Akeldama decided to try to scare the lion towards the pride's land. That way, one of the other pride members could help her kill the male. She took off after him, growling and snapping at the back of his hind legs. Her legs weren't carrying her as fast as they could actually carry her. Usually the faster she ran the more energy she spent and the less time she could run.

He moved faster and faster each time she snapped towards him. Then, out of no where, he went a random direction. Trying to go back the way he had came to the safety of his own lands. And out of this females reach. He hoped she'd get tired before he would, but he didn't want to take the chances. The only good thing about him was that he could run, and run the right way. By breathing, it made it so he could run long distance for a long period of time. His tail stayed close to his body so that she couldn't grab at it easily.

She continued to chase him. Growing more and more bored and tired with every step they took. Maybe this male wasn't worth her energy. He would make a good meal, but she didn't want to spend all her energy running around in a big circle. She continued to snap at his ankles as she growled deep within her throat.

Panic was going threw him. This female must not like lions at all, he wondered. He tried to go faster, but he was going as fast as he could unless he wanted to get tired really fast. He could hear both of their feet upon the ground, which made the panic go higher. His heart was racing which made it very hard for him to keep his breathing under control. He didn't know what else to do though. Maybe he had said something wrong to her and she wanted to hurt him because of it? Whatever the reason, she was angry at him. Maybe it was a pride he had stumbled upon?

Akeldama suddenly grew tired and didn't want to chase the lion any longer. She took one more step towards him then stopped, her legs carried her away quickly in case the lion decided to try to attack her in return, though she highly doubted it. No, the rest of her energy would be saved for when she found something worth her time. It would've been nice to have captured this male, but he was too annoying.

Narhari didn't stop when she did, he kept going. Panic started to go away as he watched her slow down. Thank god, he lived this day. He'd have to make note not to go that way again. He didn't want to run into that female again. Or what might be waiting beyond her. Who knows why she did that other then herself. He tried to be nice, and failed. He slowed to a trot before walking now well far enough from the female all he saw was a dot... Thank god.
