Does Hiromu Arakawa count? >__>
Aye, yee like the Full Metal Alchemist as well. Technincly she does count (if we're talking about the manga). She wrote the story, so it is literature.

I say that my list of favorite authors would be this:

Michael Chrighton, Nobohiro Watsuki, Christopher Paolini, David Clement-Davies, and Yasuhiro Nightow. Other than that I am not a big book reader... funny, I don't like to read very much but I like to write and rp...

Michael Crighton, Larry Niven, and a couple others that I'd have to go look up again.

[Along with Jack London (I don't care if he's dead! xp ), Anne McCaffery, and Kate Constable] I luff Chirstopher Paolini and David Clement-Davies!

-drools over The Sight and Fire Bringer- Although, I myself am more attached to the books, rather then the authors. My top ten books:

1) White Fang (four years running... not bad!)
2) Call of the Wild (same as White Fang)
3) The Sight (recently kicked out Watership Down)
4) Fire Bringer (same as The Sight)
5) Watership Down (four years on the top ten list--has fallen to number 5 in the past year...)
6)The Tales of Watership Down (everybody loves a sequel!)
7) Eragon
8 ) *reserved for Eldest* I haven't had enough time to read it but I know I'll love it! xd )
9) The Singer of all Songs (-marks calender for February 14th)
10) The Waterless Sea (the third one comes out then!)

Oh yeah, I didn't include my favorite manga authors. Well, I like both Rumiko and Kazuki Takahashi (Inu and Yugiou). I like Watsuki (Kenshin @_@ Oroooooo) and whoever wrote Yuyu Hakusho.

One of my favorite novels is the House of the Scorpin by Nancy Farmer. Which I own a copy. biggrin . I also enjoy the works of Alan Moore, who wrote the story of The Killing Joke, a Batman comic that reveals some history of the Joker.
