I went to my martial arts graduation ceremony today. Crazy shiznit. Tons of demonstrations.
Lots of weapons and feet flying everywhere.
Master McClerc broke something like 18 boards, 4 boards per strike as well as two cinder blocks at once. We had to cover our heads in case of flying wood spearing people everywhere.
Mr Antonelli, my teacher, broke one plank about 7 ft by 2ft with a back kick, then went on to break 5 unheld boards during a form. Yowza!
Then this one guy came up, Master O'hearan. Holy crap. As he was doing a form, two other 3rd Degree black belts came up and swung multiple two-by-fours on his arms and body. They break and he doesn't even flinch. HOT DAMN.
My class and I received our new ranks. I've got a 2nd degree black belt! Whoo! Big formal ceremony and everything.
But that's not the best part.
We went to a Hibachi restaurant to celebrate. Mr Antonelli, Ms. Mojica and myself order sushi while everyone else gets hibachi. As he's eating, the chef comes up and says in his half Japanese, half English speech; "Oh, today, you sushi boy!".
The man I had feared for 7 whole years just got called "Sushi Boy" right in front of me. I laughed my a** off. Mr Antonelli gave me a death glare, but that didn't matter. I was in hysterics. Yeah. Today was a good day.

Thanks. I just figured that I wasn't doing enough in the way of thread making. I hope I didn't appear as a show-off.

Halloween!!!
Psh, we all want to kidnap Boss! But you guys live closer. rofl lol, I sometimes I feel like I'm rambling when I'm trying to explain a concept or idea. It takes me forever to really explain something it seems sometimes.

Oh, and here's another kick in the a**.
Turns out that Grandmaster Ferraro isn't going to acknowledge my group promotion, just because he wasn't there, and even though we sent him video footage!
Do you know what that means?
We have to do the whole damn thing over again at HIS Dojo in New Haven, or West Haven, or something. Bah! Pisses me off! scream
