Seiram was taking a walk. But it was only a walk a foal could take. Sometimes he ran, sometimes he sidestepped, but mainly he just wandered along. He had just fought off a particularly vicious kalona, of the imaginary sort, and was now prancing along, enjoying his time away from parental supervision.
His father had felt that he sons were old enough to take care of themselves (if it wasn't too far from home) and his mother hadn't stopped him so he was taking advantage of their decision. A gray shape caught his eye and he stopped, starring at it curiously. It appeared to be another soq, and if it was near his family he should probably go investigate...he walked over slowly, watching the stranger the whole time.

Nakia was out enjoying a bit of solo time; as much as she loved being with her mate, she needed a bit of fresh air. Now walking along through some unfamiliar territory, she carefully glanced at her surroundings before lowering her head to graze.
The silver mare was not one hundred percent sure just WHO claimed this piece of land...and she was not going to linger if this was Kalona land...For now, she could rest and regain her strength for the flight home.

Seiram did not try to hide the fact to hide his approach, he'd never really feared anyone before. As he drew nearer he saw that it had beautiful feathered wings, much like a bird. His step quickened, surely something so pretty wasn't dangerous.
As soon as he was close enough he called out to it. "Hello there!" His young voice rang out loudly.
