It was cool late summer night and the light breeze was bringing the scent of fall that was slowly coming. Flik couldn't sleep and like many nights before this one was no exception he woke up from a nightmare. He went to the stream to wash out the bitter taste that was left from this old memory. and although he left all known to him to forget the dream would always come back. He looked to the fireflies and admired they're dancing lights trying to calm down and empty his mind from all thoughts that were storming. By the stream he looked at the sky it was filled with stars and the moon was full, such beautiful sight, and he felt calm and free like nothing else mattered any more. He lowered his head to drink water he saw his reflection in the water and froze like enchanted staring at it thinking was this really him did so much time pass. They why did it feel like it was yesterday?!

Maion’s mind was a live with his recent discoveries, life had gone from being very simply to simply complicated. He flapped his wings as he flew over the Ocean, at least that was one thing that remained the same no matter what. His mind wandered to the events that had passed recently, he had found out that his Mother was possibly not dead, that in fact she had allowed herself to be turned into a skinwalker by, and this part was the most painful, his father. He had always despised skinwalker’s, the way the looked and acted, the way they always seemed to believe they were superior to everyone else. Darkness and hell lingered within their hearts and now that his Mother was one also that would be the same for her. Yet the confusion arose by his curiosity, he simply couldn’t leave his Mother alone now that he knew she was alive. The memories of his childhood played through his mind. She had showed him the beauty and the wonder of the world around them, she had gifted him the sparkled upon his pelt and taught him the lessons that he used on a daily bases.
Sighing he attempted to shift the thought, it seemed to complicated for him to comprehend, skinwalker or not she was his Mother. Like it or not, he was his Father. It pained him to think of it, he had always wanted to meet his Father, expecting him to be of valiant blood, someone who could teach him the ways of the world through his eyes and help guide him in his decisions, yet this creature was not worthy of such compliments, he cared not for the ways of scum. Despite how much he tried he could not escape the thought that he too was more like him that he wanted, what if one day he showed a violence or neglect towards someone under his charge? What if he turned into a skinwalker?
Maion knew very little about Skinwalker’s, he knew not how they were formed or how they lived, just that he hated them with a burning passion that he could not describe. Any creature that murdered for sport was considered unworthy in his eyes.
Clicking his lips together he noted their dryness, perhaps it was time to take a drink and shift his mind from the terrible thoughts that haunted him. His eyes scanned for a place to land that would be close to a river for him to quench his thirst, spotting it he began his decent, flapping his wings simply to help him float upon the gently swaying breeze.
His hooves dug into the ground as he landed, the soften mud spraying him with small droplets of dirt as he straightened himself up. The watery morning sun shone, its colours flickering upon the waters glossy surface as he watched it. Stepping towards it he lowered his head to sip the cooling liquid, it felt refreshing.

The sound of someone landing near by brought Flik back from his thoughts. He looked to the sky and surprised thought when did time pass so quick. he looked in the direction from where sound came and not far away from him he spotted a winged Soquili a kind he had never seen before stepping towards water. He stood in silence only looking and then he felt his legs moving like something was pulling him in the direction where the stranger was standing slowly going closer to him.
