 Yin Xu sped through the forest, racing with one thought on her mind. Swimming. Yes swimming. For at the end of this trail beaten through the forest was a river, and that river flowed in a wonderfully large pool. Yin loved swimming, the feel of the cool water soothing her skin after a hot day was one of the highlights over her life.
A bend in the trail loomed in front of her. Reason told her to slow down but there was never anyone there in the past. She kept going enjoying the wind in her face and the thoughts of a swim just ahead. She rounded the bend and saw the soq on the path in front of her too late. She skidded, trying to stop herself to no avail, and the trail was really too narrow to get by it. She managed to get close enough to the side that they didn't collide head on, but her shoulder ran into its painfully, quickly stopping her.

 "Yeahhoooowuch.", Oinone says mournfully, looking at his shoulder and fluttering his wing before glancing up at the silver horse. "Oh. Hello." he says absently, with a small smile before glaring at his shoulder a second time. Almost as though it were his shoulder's fault for hurting instead of the other horses.
"You run through people often?" he asks casually, limping slightly over to a nearby tree, where he leans against it with a small sigh. "I mean. I don't. But I've never been here before either. I was just out wandering you know and thought this place looked awfully pretty. I mean it is pretty isn't it?" he rambles out, shaking his head slightly. It seemed like it was an effort for him to focus on the other horse. "Are you ok? I mean it was pretty dreadful of me to get in your way. I've never been here before and clearly you know where you're going so I had to be in the way and I do apologize for it. Although thinking about it I must have got what I deserved getting rammed into like that. Are you quite ok?" he continues in a rambly sort of tone, as though he was trying to make this seem important but he wasn't sure how.

Yin Xu decided to just to ignore her shoulder and go on. Who really cared if it throbbed painfully and shot pain down her leg when she moved? She twisted her neck a bit to get her pendant to settle into a more comfortable spot on her chest and turned towards the stallion, eying him curiously.
"Its not your fault, I really need to stop runnin' through the forest at top speed shouldn't I?" She winked at him congenially and continued on speaking quickly. "Maybe I'd even learn to 'preciate the scenery like you do. I'm doin' fine over here, no major injuries. Are you fine? That limp doesn't look too good." She paced over to get a better look at the injured shoulder, slightly worried but keeping pretty upbeat about the whole thing.
