Since she was little Kari played with the house keepers and sitters, her mother never wanted anything to do with her. Kari is ashamed of her mother and never tells anyone who she is or that she is still alive. At school she was quiet, has a few good friends, got good grades and played sports. The perfect child. She was sent here away to the vacation to not bother her mother and new step-father, while they try to get pregnant.

Her family is wealthy but for this vacation, they didn't take her to Rome, Italy with them. They forgot her. She's the mostly forgotten one and she's an only child. She hasn't had any friends, a boyfriend, not even a toddler has liked her before. She's smart as ever and is quiet ever since junior high because she was always the one to be picked on. She hopes this little 'trip' helps her become more happy than usual. She's an audacious girl though and stands her ground no matter what.
