Xai'Lahn's Past Life

Xai'Lahn is one of the oldest souls to be re-born as a Dreamer- he was originally a warrior from medievil times, strong and brave. He fought for good and was considered a paladin of justice- not of the law, but of a strong moral code.
He was wounded one day in a great fight, protecting a small village from bandits. He was taken to the village's doctor- who, given the time, was little more than a herbalist- and the doctor used herbs to put him into a deep sleep whilst the wound was treated. It was sown shut and it looked as though he would recover- but he could not be awoken, and died two days later.
