Kel'Fa's Past Life

Kel'Fa was a prince in life; although he wanted nothing more than to play and be himself, he was raised to be a strong character who had to abide by the rules of the royal society. Forced to hide all emotions and characteristics, he grew increasingly frustrated with his lot in life; becoming unstable and angry in private as a result.
The final straw was when his parents tried to find him a suitable wife before he took the throne. Meeting princess after princess with no personality or desires outside the court, he was filled with a desire to take action- to change things.
He started living a double life, sneaking out of the palace to meet with increasingly shady characters and dabbling in herbal stimulants and spirits. He finally got an offer he could not refuse- a revolutionary drug claimed to create hallucinations of wonderous things. He took them home and tried them; but they were a slow-acting poison which put him into a deep sleep. He died two weeks later from malnutricion having been in a coma since taking the drugs.
