A small area of field, close to the edge of the forest; the grass was long, and sprinkled with wildflowers. A tiny offshoot of Rhiann runs through the meadow; adding a soft trickling sound to the bird cries and contributing to the soothing atmosphere. Today the sun is out; not glaring, but gentle and warming. A breeze teases at the grasses and sends puffs of pollen dancing through the air.

Kel'Fa was... Free. Standing in the stream, he felt the water wash over his paws and legs; the current swirling the fur. He stared at it with wide green eyes; before jumping forwards, creating a great splash. Such a simple noise; a simple action. But it was... wonderful. The water splashed up his mottled legs and drenched his belly- and it didn't matter. Who cared? Nobody did. It was liberating. He started running along the stream bed; kicking up the bitingly cold water and drenching his straight fur. It was fantastic, wonderful- he could do anything he wanted, nobody was looking to him for guidance or leadership. He was free.

{{FAE'LIN}}
Fae'Lin had been relaxing near the stream; the grass was thinner close to the banks, and she was curled up and comfortable, the sun warming her fur. She made a happy noise in her throat, long pierced ears back and relaxed. A sudden noise made them tilt up and forward; sending the feathers on one ear swinging back and forth. A splashing noise- as if someone were leaping through the stream. She tilted her head to one side; gave a soft mew of consideration, before standing and stretching out her slender, graceful body. The stretch felt so good- she'd been curled up relaxing for some time, and the stretch in her muscles, the relief of tension, was heavenly. She let out a yawn and stood, preparing to go and find the source of the disturbence she heard.

Kel'Fa kept leaping along the stream- he was nearly soaked by now, but the sun was warm enough that he wasn't cold, and his heart was pounding blood around his body, the exercise keeping him warm. He felt exhilerated at the actions; the freedom they represented; the incredible liberty he felt here. He missed nothing of humanity- he had enjoyed nothing of it anyway. It seemed as if he'd finally been granted his ultimate wish- to be himself. He spread his paws out so they created a greater splash as they hit the water; and he splashed along, laughing, when he saw a movement and flash of gold from the corner of his eye. He passed it before he could react; but he spun in the water, sending up a huge splash as he turned to see what- or who- it was.

The source of the noise came into her view and Fae'Lin backed away from the edge of the stream to avoid getting soaked- but as he span and sent an increased wave splashing out she couldn't get back in time and the water washed over her head and the front half of her body. She gasped; the cold water drenching her fur, making it cling to her body and hand off her chest and chin in soaked, dripping locks. Her green eyes widened and she let out a gasp of shock; her body low to the ground. "Oh- oh my...!" She shivered; backing away from the stream as if it would help her to shrug off the water.

"Oh- oh no, I am terribly sorry!" Kel'Fa bounded up the stream's bank to stand by the sodden Sim'Arei. She was slender and elegant- and her front half was drenched. "I truly did not intend to get you wet- pray tell me, are you alright?" His slanted eyes showed genuine concern, and he grimaced- she didn't look the type to enjoy being soaked unexpectedly.
