Medusa was in the swingset, swinging to and fro as her Bronze dragon pushed her, a smile wide on her face as she enjoyed the brisk cold morning air thoroughly.
Medusa turned and glanced at her dragon, giggling as she kicked her legs. "Harder, push harder!" The dragon seemed to roll his eyes and clamp his jaws together, letting out a sigh through his nostrils as he now pushed with both front feet, sending her higher with a giddy exclamatory glee from her.
Well, at least one of them was having fun.

Izzy had just played in the little kiddie splash pool on the other side of the park, but it had gotten very boring without Ana to play with. She headed for the playground, Henri trailing behind her. She scrutinized the area before deciding on the monkey bars. The little chiton girl climbed up the little ladder and grabbed the first bar, holding it hard. She reached out for the next bar, not swinging or straining until she realized, with a kick of her legs, that that's precisely what she should be doing.

Forgetting to push for the moment, the bronze glanced up at the child who had caught his attention, and he tilted his head towards her general direction.
Medusa frowned as she slowed on the swing, kicking her legs and pursing her lips. Why had he stopped? She glanced back and then to where he was looking, pursing her lips further out and making her face look puffy. Was that a new person? A new child?
Maybe they'd want to play...? Medusa slid off the swing and let her face relax, tilting her head up to watch the chiton work as she crossed her arms.
Medusa was at the stage where she was getting to be very girly... and even though this girl had a very very cute hairstyle, what she was doing wasn't girly in the slightest!

Honestly, neither were her modified overalls and dirt-smeared t-shirt. Izzy was on the fourth bar of ten when Medusa stood below her, and she simply stopped, hanging on with both hands and staring down. She simply stared, eyes curious, mouth neutral. Hrm. New girl.

Medusa tilted her head at her overalls. Shouldn't little girls wear dresses? Well, at least they weren't dirty... yet.
"Hi." Medusa smiled, waving with quick fingers before she leaned against the bar. Her dragon gave her a blank look, then turned with interest to the new girl.

Izzy just dropped from the bars, landing on her hard plates to protect herself. She rolled to her belly then and stood up. Well! Now they were dirty!
"Hi. I Iddy."

Medusa's lip curled. How disgusting! Pure water was the best, for sure! Especially when it rained.
"Hi. I'm Medusa." Blinking slowly, Medusa took a step back in case this one decided to hug her. She was the same way a bit when she was little, but now that she was older...

Izzy wasn't a hugger. In fact, she wasn't much of a speaker either. She waited a moment to see if this new girl would say anything and, when she didn't, headed off toward the swing set. My, people were so strange...

The dragon snorted. Medusa turned a faint red, eyes widening. How dare this girl ignore her!
"I said... hello!" She shouted after the girl, indignant. Wasn't she popular? Wasn't she cute anymore?! "Don't you have anything to say to that?" Stomping after the girl, she reached out to snag her by an overall strap. "Hey, I'm talking to you!"

Izzy looked down at the hand on her overalls and looked to Daddy. He was just watching, ready to jump in if he needed.
"Said 'hi' already," she replied, "Lemmee go."

"That's it? Just a hi? Why not start up a conversation?" Medusa let go, frowning viciously. This was not proper! Nor did it seem right.

"'Zactly," Izzy said, beginning to swing. After all, Izzy had said hi and left Medusa to respond, thus making it her obligation to begin a conversation if she wanted to talk. Apparently she didn't.

"... Ugh." Medusa said, sitting on the other swing and watching the other girl. Her dragon raised a paw to push her, but she whirled on the poor thing and growled.
"No." She stated, wagging a finger at him. The dragon huffed and looked away, putting down his paw.

Izzy had long since learned to pump her legs to swing and so happily hummed as she did, moving higher and higher. She wondered idly if she would swing over the bars if she went too high. Hrm...well. She'd simply have to land on her plates again if she did.

Going quiet, Medusa watched the other kid with a slight bit of jealousy.
The dragon stretched a little, curling his toes into the ground with a smile, and giving a huff he curled up next to the swingset.
Medusa bit her lower lip, not knowing what to say now.
