Draped lazily in a tree, Mkorogo simply watched things going by. He'd followed Mioyo and Kohpi's scents this far, to these lands within view of the giant pointy rock, bordered by desert to the north.
His friend's sons had gone off on their own ages ago, determined to do something. He didn't particularly care.
Closing his eyes, the leopard settled for sleep. He was ready for it, he'd had a long travel. It was time to just relax.

Ears flicking, the little white lioness looked for her children. They'd just about all run off to play, or some were off with Ezeoha.. Right now, though, she saught out the smallest of the sizeable litter.
"Dongó! Come out of hiding, you!" A light trilling giggle reached her ears, and the lioness went to find him, a smile on her maw.

One ear flicking, Mkorogo opened an eye. Now that was a voice he hadn't heard in a while... And she was calling someone... A quick look and he realised she was calling a cub. "Awww, did you forget your big grown boys?" With a stretch, the leopard yawned.

Her ears emediately perked up, eyes dancing. She knew that voice! She knew the snarky tone, too! Looking around, the lioness began a new search. Where was he? She knew he was there, she wasn't just hearing things! Dongó even came out of hiding, looking around himself. Sitting under the tree, Kohpi frowned. "I hear you, where are you?"

Letting out an exasperated sigh, the leopard shifted and climbed down the tree. Patting the lioness on the head with a paw, he frowned. "I'm right here, genius." He noted that the cub hid, which was understandeable. It looked up at him with great big blue eyes... Mkorogo found himself shocked by the shade of them. He hadn't seen eyes that color since a cub himself, when he looked into his mother's face.

With a squeel, Kohpi turned around. Her face lit up when she saw him, and in an instant, she had him on the ground on his back. "Mkorogo! You found me! I haven't seen you in forever!" With a laugh, she tugged gently on his hair, then an ear. Purring deeply, she licked his face, "I'm so happy to see you again!"

The leopard let out a displeased sound, trying to get her off. He'd never much liked her shows of affection, but if it was what he had to endure... Finally, he got her to let go. "I see you've been busy..." He paused, looking at the cub. "Again." If he found the lion that had taken advantage of her this time... Gods help the lion.

Looking at Dongó, she smiled. "He's just a little darling!" She leaned over, pulling him close and licking his mane. The cub squirmed, letting out a displeased 'MAMA!' at the attention. Returning her gaze to Mkorogo, she grinned. "And he has three brothers and three sisters!" It had her wiggling, paws just dancing.

It made him stop and gape. "SEVEN? You have SEVEN cubs?!" He couldn't begin to imagine the toll it may have taken. She WAS small for a lion... Hell, leopards were smaller than lions and he STILL stood over her! Then again, the cub before him was tiny... He leaned over, staring the cub in the eyes. "So what's this one's name...?"

"Aw, Rogie, don't refer to him like THAT..." She cuddled her son, then held him up. "His name's Dongó!" The grin that plastered on her face was full of the pure innocence she almost always had. She then giggled. "You should meet the rest! And Eze!" She set the cub down, still beaming.

Eze...? The only thing that came to Mkorogo's mind was that this had to be the lion that had given her seven cubs... Which his mind was still trying to wrap around... SEVEN...? He mentally shook his head, then frowned. "It might not be a good idea for me to meet... Eze... And... How would we ever find seven cubs?" He swept his paw across the savanna. "This is kind of a big place! Unless you can pinpoint EXACTLY where they are, we'll be searching for a WHILE." He didn't even know what they looked like!

A giggle erupted from the lioness. "They won't be hard to find! They're with Eze in the Pridelands!" As she started to lead the way, a tug on her tail had her look down. Looking at his mother, and then at the leopard, Dongó frowned. "Mama, who is he...?" She was so at ease with him... But then again, she was at ease with EVERYBODY. She treated all as if they were a potential friend... She knew this leopard, though, and she knew him well. Red eyes shifted from the cub to the leopard, then back to the cub, before she smiled warmly, tenderly. "This is Mkorogo. He's my friend, my closest friend." She looked at him, smiling sweetly. His outward actions had no effect on her, she ignored his brashness, his rudeness, his general assholery. And in a flash, she picked up Dongó, carrying him towards the Pridelands, the place that was home for now. She only paused to look back at Mkorogo, beconing him to follow.

He swore his heart stopped at the look she'd given him. Shaking his head, he started to follow. Either they'd been apart for too long and he was imagining things, or... Well, he thought of the saying, absence makes the heart grow fonder... The leopard could only sigh, before he followed the little lioness. This would be a fun challenge... Meeting all of her cubs. Somehow, he didn't think he'd meet ALL of them...
