well, I'd hate to admit it... but im rather busy with school and it dosent look like anyone else is comming here... i wonder if this guild has died..? am i desperately clinging to a lost hope that died the day Terra left? am i just being cynical?
its just, what can we do? this guild is dedicated to one game. granted, its an awesome game. but theres only so much we can talk about... there just no real reason to come here... well.. I will always come and look at this guid from time to time.. for as long as this guild exists... and as long as im still coming to gaia....
still... i want to revive the guild and have a bustling community... but i just dont have the time... oh well. i can always hope and dream...
people change. and lives move on... but i hope we never forget the epoch that is FFVI....

Yeah, people move on and places like this become very empty. I've pretty much been too busy for Gaia lately myself, but I still like to check in every once in a while. Still, there are tons of people who like FF6, so maybe someday this guild can be restored to its former glory! sweatdrop

I got sucked up into real life, as well as Final Fantasy XI. The Drama Llama has been visiting my house as of late, so internet time as taken a downward spiral as a result.
Methinks that after I finish a new art piece to go with the main page of another guild I mod in, I might make a piece or two for this guild.
Also, besides Kefka being in Dissidia, there's Terra. I AM SO HAPPY WORDS CAN NOT PROPERLY EXPRESS IT. *A* She's even got her esper form and everything...
It has been quiet as of late, but not only in this guild. I've noticed the FFVII guild is rather the same way, even though they had Crisis Core released some time ago. I think it's because a good portion of the folks who go to Gaia Online in general are growing up and focusing more on real life than online life. That, or they find new things to be entertained by than good ol' classics like Final Fantasy VI.
I think that people will keep coming back, though, because I could never leave a game like Xenogears behind, even though I've played it over ten years ago. It left such a huge impression upon my childhood, and I'm sure anyone who's been touched by FFVI's magic would feel the same way.
It really would help if they did a complete remake of FFVI and released it to a wider audience (like on the DS), as that'd reignite interest in the game, but until then, I figure things will be quiet in here.

i've heard rumors of them remaking FFVI like FFIII and FFIV. i heard that they're going to make FFV and then FFVI. so if we're lucky they might just do that. that would be awesome. if they do. im instantly pre-ordering it.
hrmm... maybe i should buy two...

If they did do a remake like they did for FFIII and FFIV, I'd be all over that like white on rice. *A* I mean, I might actually get my sister to play the game (finally!) if they do that, because she won't play the GBA version I have.
I'd also get FFV too, because I love the job system in that game. >.>
If they also go along with what they did in IV and had voice acting in the following remakes, I wonder what they'd do for Celes' voice in the Opera scene where she sings... I've got an English version, a Japanese version (from the Black Mages), and another that's probably in Italian, but all of them sound different. I think I'd be happy with whatever they chose, regardless. *A*
I'd just be so in-love with that game all over again if they remade it.

Yes! I can't wait until Dissidia comes out! I originally thought it was going to be out in time for Christmas, but the Japanese version ships in late December, so I doubt we'll get it before next year. It should be great when it does come out!
If they did remake FF6 for DS, I'd buy it the first day. Just imagine how cool it would be to see those great scenes with full FMVs and voice acting. I thought they did a great job with FF4, so they could do wonders with an FF6 remake.

Welcome new person... i should've thought of sending you a PM to welcome you to the guild sooner... yeah, the guild is kinda undead right now, but if people come back and post again it can come back to life... I just wish there where more people to come here... well as long as someone posts i'll respond....

Growing up doesn't necessarily have much to do with it; there are a LOT of adults on Gaia (I'm mid-20s myself). I think maybe you should try an advertising campaign or something... isn't there a forum for registered guilds? Maybe put a thread there or something.
Or even expand the guild and have discussion of other old Squeenix games too - like the Seiken Densetsu series and other FF games. You could use one of the subforums for it, maybe.
This game is too good to have a dead guild. I agree with you. XD

yeah its more the finding time to make a place to advertise it. its been on my to-do list, but i have school and homework and what not. plus im having a hard time because i want it to look good. so im dis-swayed because just making one isnt good enough for me..
still we'll have to consider your suggestions. i wouldnt mind expanding the guild, but that kinda goes against the whole FFVI guild-ness. and there's probably already a ton of guilds like that... well, for now, there's not much i can do. (i'd also like the guild to be a little more active before i advertise, but i need more members for that. a catch 22...)

IKR! I'd invite my friends but so far I've had terrible luck at getting them to actually post on Gaia (dunno why since they use our home forum all the tiiiime).
And I don't really mean reworking the guild so it loses its essence, just to have a separate area where people can chat about other old games if they want... I think it might potentially help create activity.
Blah. I don't know. XD
