Aktarum are a very fun Folk Metal band from Belgium, they remind me a lot of Trollfest, probably because they also seem to be obsessed with trolls... I don't know too much about them because I just discovered them a week or two ago, but I suggest a you listen to them if you haven't already, they seem to already be quite famous so I'm suprised I just learned about them. If you are a fan of such bands as Trollfest and Finntroll them you would probably enjoy Aktarum. Aktarum @ Myspace

Man that would be awesome, but I don't think I am prepared to move to a different country... especially when the band is unsigned and I don't speak French sweatdrop I would have thought it would be easy to find a guitarist for them, it sounds as though they have been looking for a long time

Man that would be awesome, but I don't think I am prepared to move to a different country... especially when the band is unsigned and I don't speak French sweatdrop I would have thought it would be easy to find a guitarist for them, it sounds as though they have been looking for a long time It can be very hard to find the right person for your band, trust me. The band I'm in had a really good guitarist at first but he didn't know how to work with a band, he claimed we all were screwing him up when we played. confused Also, you need someone with at least a wee bit of similar personality, like if the band was full of fun loving people adding in a real hard a** would completely screw everything up, its all about chemistry.
