Post whatever ramblings you want here. I'll start: I need a spring so I can make a bizarre bobble head...thing out of the toys I blew up on the 24th of July. (Note: That's a Utah holiday.)

That kid my sister is babysitting is still trying to sniff the dogs butt. I told him to quit because it's disgusting. He laughed and kept on doing it, so I said, "You won't think it's so funny when she turns around and bites your face." Hopefully that will be the end of it. sweatdrop

Hooboy. Just why did we have to get into that discussion of the etymology of nemutai in class... when it had absolutely nothing to do with the final? gonk
Granted... it was pretty cool. 3nodding The "sui" in "suimin" once had a long time ago when Dinosaurs still roamed free range in Japan, an alternate reading of "neburu", which conjugated into "nebutai" in the desirative. Time passed and people became lazy with their pronounciation, and it became "nemutai".
To throw a bone in it all (because they like doing such things), they decided that they were too good to use the character the had been using previously, and ended up replacing it with the "min" from "suimin" (other reading of this character would be nemuru-- to sleep).
Tada. Insane little etymology lesson of the day. domokun
