Okay, some of you may have noticed that I have referenced a disscussion I'm having on Facebook about ******. It's getting very interesting, and I thought I'd open the subject up here to see what you all think.
Basically my argument is that killing another human is wrong, no matter what they did. Killing the abuser would spread the wrong kind of message to the abusee, and killing is wrong. Also, it'll stop repeat offenders but it won't stop first time offenders. Offering them help before they offend will stop them in the first place.
Their argument is that ****** (or '*****' as most of them spell it... noobs. I don't know why anyone would be sexually attracted to feet) aren't human and that it doesn't matter. They're too blinded by their emotions to know, and they say that I don't know because I'm too young. And then they just ignore everything sane I say because I'm younger than them.
Discuss:
- People on Facebook being idiots.
- How some people think age = intelligence.
- The right thing to do about ******/>- Anything else that's related.

Anywho: Ed, almost everyone is an idiot...not just facebook. My Number 4 Pet Peeve is people thinking with their emotions...WE ARE HUMAN!!! WE HAVE LOGIC!!! USE IT!!!!
age = intelligence. Intelligence = ability to learn. That decreases with your age, since your braincells are constantly dying, and, being Nerve cells, they cannot be replaced. Age = expierience, however Age =/= Wisdom or knowledge....that comes with how you are brought up and stuff....
****** should be treated the same as any other criminal.

That's why I'm glad that there is an 8-10 year holding period before people on death row are killed. I don't particularly like the idea of chemical castration, simply because it really reminds me of when they would chop off someone's hand for stealing, and cut off a liar's tongue. It seems kind of horrible to me. Besides, what about female rapists?

In the group on Facebook (It's called "Lock up ***** with no parole" or something like that on the Causes app.) someone posted something about a ****** who requested chemical castration. So it's not like they don't want it (although it could have just been omeone who was stupid)... maybe there's something that could disable their hormones? Or give them a sex change then chemically castrate them? And... it's not as cruel as killing them. They should be punnished, but not killed. That's just showing off the government's inability to come up with something to do with them.

Sorry, I could have sworn my filtering was off. Wow, that post makes alot more sense now.
Most of the government officials are either agnostics or really stupid Christians. They think that death IS the worst punishment. Although chemical castration does sound a little harsh... and I don't even want to imagine what would happen to the female ******.

Yes, but should we even be trying to punish them? I also just figured out that death is possibly the worst thing they could threaten.
If they know they're going to die once they've done it once, they'll have nothing left to lose, so they'll do it again, or kill their victim. Or all three both.
EDIT: three sentence parts =/= three points. I knew that. xD
