Welcome to our Samhain costume contest! whee

There are two categories: Real life and avatar. Both categories have five sub-categories: Scariest, Funniest, Most Original, Cutest, and General (for anything that doesn't fit in the other sub-categories).

The real life category is for the costumes that you actually wear on your physical body in real life. All you have to do is take a picture of you in your costume and post it in the thread saying that you're entering the real life category in the scariest (or one of the other choices) sub-category. So that we know you didn't take the picture off of the internet, you'll need to make a sign with your Gaia username and hold it in your hands when you have the picture taken.

The avatar category is for your Gaia avatars. All you have to do is dress up your avatars. You can either make your avatar look how you want it, or you can tektek it. However, if you tektek it, you'll have to display your inventory so that we can see you actually own the items you used.

The Rules
- You may enter only once in the real life category and also once in the avatar category.
- You can't directly copy someone else's entry or avatar.
- If you're entering the avatar category, you have to be able to prove that you own all of the items you used.
- You must be a guild member at the time you submit your entry.

After the party we will set up a voting system. We will have a first and second place for each sub-category.

Prizes
- First place: each first place winner will receive one secret item plus 1,000 gaia gold.
- Second place: each second place winner will receive 500 gaia gold.
- Anyone who doesn't place will get 100 gold for trying.

Just copy and paste everything that's in the code box into a PM addressed to dark_angel_32189. Make sure that you title the PM something along the lines of "Costume vote". For the ballot, just take out the people you don't want to vote for. You should only have one person in each category when you send your vote.

I like to enter my current avatar in the Most Original category

I would like to enter my current avatar into Most Original, seeing as it kind of has more of an old-bar-maid/sorceress feel.

Daine Salmaline wins the scariest avatar category by default.
koudelkaW wins the cutest avatar category and the real life category by default.

We'll be voting on the most original avatar and general avatar. Since there's two separate categories, the voting will be done through PM.
