As Asrai held 'Qua's hand at the party, the rising moon glittered off of her skin, illuminating it, making her eyes appear dazzling bright, her irises reminding him of something special....something important...his own yellow eyes almost lit up like a light bulb when he finally remembered what he was reminded of.
A large smile crossed his face. Now would be the perfect time. He turned his attention back on the beautiful lady standing next to him.
"'Qua, there's something I want to show you. Will you come with me? It's not very far?"

Aquamarine smiled as she watched him. His eys light up as he looked at her and his excitedment made her giggle. "Of course, I'll go with you." She would go anywhere with Rai.

"Great!" 'Rai grabbed her hand excitedly and began leading her in the direction of the lake, tugging her along by her hand. "It's been awhile, but I think I can find it again. I hope I can. Would be rather embarrassing if I couldn't now huh?" He started mumbling nervously. What if he really couldn't find it though?
As they reached the waters edges he turned back to her, rubbing the back of his head absentmindedly. "Uh well, I hope the waters not too cold."

Aquamarine giggled as he mumbled, she didn't know what was making him that way. "It's never too cold!" She said and then she broke free of him to dive right in. She felt her legs go back to fins and sighed as it always felt better this way.

Asrai smiled as she jumped in without a care. That was 'Qua. How he'd missed her. He dove in after her, a slight shiver running through his body as the cold water caught him still in his human form, feeling the transformation shift him into his Naiad form. He breathed in deeply. "Aaah. It's been too long since I've had a good swim. " The water felt just perfect now as he started swimming in circles around the girl.

"Yeah, it just feels so much better in here." She liked walking on land, ok, but this was always better. Aquamarine giggled as Asrai swam circles around her. "So, lead the way!"

The smile faded from Asrai's face. "What....? You mean you don't know where we are going? " He stared at her in what he hoped was shock and disbelief but after a moment or two, try as hard as he could feel the corner of lips start twitching.

Aquamarine turned toward Rai, "Well, I have a pretty good idea..." She knew where, but it had been so fun to make Rai think she didn't. "Do you not remember, should I lead the way?" She winked at him, for she was teasing him a little bit.

A look of shock came over Asrai's face. "You mean....you mean you know where we're going?" He'd so wanted it to be a surprise. Well, he could always hope she didn't remember everything.

"To our secret spot...right?" The big clam treasure box, of course she didn't really remember what the treasure was. "I really want to see it again." Made her feel good just to go where she and Rai became the best of friends.

"Yeah...how did you know?" He was a little stunned that she'd figured it out. Was he really that easy to read?
"Oh well that's good then. So do you want to lead the way then?" He bowed at the waist to her and gestured for her to move ahead.

"How could I forget?" It was one of her best memories. When she met her best friend. "It's where we became best friends." Should they become more...she blushed at the notion.
"Nah, you can lead the way." She liked him to do the leading sometimes. "Or we could race?"

Asrai smiled at the memories himself. That had been a great day when they became best friends. But weren't they more too....?
"A race? Now that's my girl! Ready, set, go!" He called out, "going" a little bit earlier than he should have.

"Hey!" She kicked her tail out to try and get a burst of speed and catch up to him. "No fair!" She giggled as the bubbles from his wake tickled her face. She hadn't swam this fast in a long time and it felt so good. She was gaining on him a bit, but he was still ahead of her. "I'm gonna beat you!"

He chuckled and slowed down just a bit to let her catch up. She was a good swimmer he thought as she pulled up even with him.
"I don't think so!"
