As you walk down the street you see a small house, looking diffrent from all the other houses on the street, aminly because it has a blue roof while the others have a red one. The other diffrence is that there are balloons floating low to the ground, and the aura of happiness and party mood has floated to you. The door of the house is open, welcoming anyone inside.
As you walk it, you see two doors, the left one leading into a large kitchen with a sink, cooking stove, fridge, micro wave.etc and a large table in the centre, with 6 chairs.
The door to the right leads into a living room, which has a sofa and two armchairs, facing a large flat TV on the wall. There is also a large glass door, leading towards the back yard which has a few tables full of food and fun toys.
The stairs lead towards the rooms of the Shakar family members, each room looks the same but has diffrent items inside. Sarah has lots of books on animals and pets. Lester has lots of plants, notebooks, and books on plants. Marfa has the tidiest room, although she is quite a fashon freak.

The doorbell suddenly rang loudly, echoing through the house.

Aqua had just shoved a finger on the button, grinning happily and bouncing in anticipation, twirling on the step.

Sere stood a few feet behind her sister, glowering as always. She had come because Niko had made her since Aqua was going, and Sarah was what Sere might consider a "friend."

Aqua smiled brightly, glomping Marfa tightly around the neck in an energetic hug. "Marfa! Long time no talk, mutt!" She said jokingly, poking her friend in the ribs.

Sere looked scathingly at her little sister and the were-mutt, following the two inside while carrying a rainbow wrapped box in her arms.

Aqua giggled, shoving Marfa backwards as she started licking her face. "Auugh, dog slobber!" She said, laughing at her friend.

She shrugged a little as she put the present on the nearest table. "I'm alright, could be better." She said, waving a hand carelessly.

Sere rolled her eyes. "Mom didn't have enough room for the harpy, so a friend of hers is gonna be looking after it." She said, refusing to connotate the, thing with a gender.

Aqua smiled brightly, sitting up. "I think you'll really like it!"

She shrugged again, smirking a little. "No complaints here. And why the hell would there have been a vampire egg in the middle of a clutch of bird-things?" She asked, raising an eyebrow skeptically.


The wrappins fell away to reveal a large picture book, full of information on all sorts of animals, the binding as thick as Aqua's thumb was long, at least.

Aqua smiled as she lifted up the book towards Sarah. "Mum figgered that since you like animals so much, we should get'cha this." She balanced it on her head, since the heavy weight of the large book was putting some strain on her arms.

Shrugging idly, she sat down on the bottom step of the staircase, crossing her legs indian style, the fabric of her black jeans sshhng quietly. "I probably wouldn't know, I'm not the one obsessed over animal... Things." She finished, rolling her eyes while furling her wings around her shoulders, for all the world looking like a feathered cloak.

Aqua giggled, grinning. "Hee hee, I'd be happy too!" She said, smiling, before bouncing onto Marfa's back, her arms around her friend's neck. "Doggy-back ride!" She shouted, laughing before pointing a finger up in the air. "High ho silver, AWAAAY!"

Sere shrugged, glaring at her and Sarah's sisters. "I don't care. If there's any left, fine, doesn't matter to me." She said idly, waving her hand in a careless motion.

Aqua giggled as she held on, before tumbling over Marfa's head as the werewolf stopped. She rolled over, landing on her belly with her hair spreading everywhere as everyone could hear her laughter from under the teal curtain.
