I really like trying my hand at a lot of things, so I'm willing to take many different suggestions on how to make gold. I have 22k in gold right now (I bought war of the warlords for 12k once by accident so I'm planning on selling it when Gaia Battle comes out razz ) but I'm wondering on exactly what to do. What would be a good investment for me?

Good job so far. After the olympics, or right now, I'd get both olympic shirts and save them for another 4 years.
Try for all the '04-'06 event items, Diversify. Buy a bunch each of a few '07 + event items really cheap. Be ready to save Them for a few years.
You never know what's going to be hot in the next few years so stock up all the cheap event items you can. They might be considered trash right now but later...?
Save all of your holiday event items.
Holiday events are coming soon so buy them cheap now. Depending on how they do it you should start selling them when the price peaks around when they start putting up holiday pics on gaia.
