The world around her started spilling in as she sleepily revealed her beige orbs. The mornign sun warmed her up, with a dark coat like hers, she warmed quickly. Ocean above still blue as ever but as each day passed, more white fluffs smoothly sailed the sky. Rustling of trees made by the morning cool breeze sent a little chill. Baisoon smiled as she watched warm colors fill in more. The thin light almond shape things, which fell from the plant called trees, now colored with yellow, red and orange. Baisoon felt more fitted in with these colors, she wasn't sure why but they felt right to her when she stood in the lands. After images had made their imapct in her little eyes, noises started coming in. This was the first night she spent alone out in this place full of trees. A dirt path ran through it and Baisoon had spent her past days on it. Her head cranked slowly from sigh to side as she laid on her stomache. The place was beautiful when the sun rose over and into the sea. It hadn't rain lately, Baisoon looked up and smiled, she didnt like rain too much. Getting up wobbly, she stretched and yawned. It felt good. She sighed as she assumed her family could careless where she went. The filly looked down the path and saw no one coming both ways. Perhaps today will be just another lonely day for her then?

Birds made their daily chirps. Looking up at the animals singing on branches, Baisoon felt a sadness rise to her. Everyone shes met so far could speak. Foals ran everywhere laughing loudly and called each other. Baisoon was always left out, with out a voice she was often more 'quiet' obiviously and less playful. Her head wandered off often and things around her had to be explained by herself. A little grumble was made by her tummy, Baisoon looked inbetween her front legs and smiled. Perhaps she should try hunting for those red balls she had eaten with Sould friend Feng. This was how her day started. Baisoon learnt to sniff the earths surface for particular smell, she discovered that when she was exploring the lands. Some sweet scent came from her right, the filly stepped onto the dirt path and began her slow walk.

Sharp notes of laughter danced through the breeze as it played in the short brown and red mane and tail of the filly. Her dark hooves slammed into the supple soil, further scuffing and obscuring the polished obsidian. Blue spots and faded bands were further blended into her earthen coat, the dirt was rather useful for that.

Not to say she didn't like her blue spots and faded bands, but... well, let's be honest shall we, they looked weird. Just as weird as the blue-brown stripes over her cheeks, like the blue-brown swirling pattern tattooed into her fur since birth. All proud traits from her parents - she just happened to look more like her father was all.

Yet as she raced on and on, laughing as water from a small brook splashed her chest she'd ran so fast through it, one might never suspect she was the child of such a curious, studious stallion. The flamboyant, flirtatious mare that was her mother? Oh yes, very much so.

Her emerald eyes shot upward, watching as a hawk glided through the trees above her as if the branches didn't exist. Not once did it flap its great wings, and her smile grew. Perhaps it was flying on the wind her speed created? Her pace increased at the very thought, pulse soaring with the effort and excitement.

Hooves met more resistance as she continued on, though her gaze remained on the bird. Her chest felt tight, heated and pained as her breaths were rushed and shallow. Legs felt treacherous, giving warnings of mutiny should she continue at this rate. She relented, slowly grudgingly, watching with a fallen expression as the hawk continued on without her. Sighing -or at least as much as she could with what little breath she had left in her- Amaris came to a halt, huffing and puffing with a definite sheen of sweat across her back. The sun only did so much to warm her, though she was grateful nonetheless for its presence and help.

At length, she finally looked down at the terrain that had shifted so suddenly beneath her, ears perking when she realized it was a path. Two-leggers? Her father had told her their various trails were spiraling around these lands. Another twitch of the ears, and green optics shot up to stare at the dark figure upon the same walkway she currently stood on. Single step forward, her temporary squinting quickly brought a grin to her face. It was another foal!

"Hi-ya!" She called to the other filly, making her way in a respectfully paced towards her. Glancing around, she frowned slightly. "You alone out here? Where're your parents?" Strange question for someone in the same situation, right? Not really - her dad wasn't far off from here, easily within shouting distance if she really tried. Or perhaps closer, for all she knew.

This thought drove her to glare over her shoulder towards the dark forest, knowing all too well how easily he could blend into the shadows. So uncool if he followed her.

Baisoon felt the wind brush against her cheeks, and she could feel that something was coming. Before the filly could react or observe more of her surroundings, she turned to the voice of another filly. Taking her steps closer to her, Baisoon stood still and watched the other for a moment and waited. Thinking about the last question she had let out towards her. Her parents could care less where she went as long as she didnt get herself in trouble, that was all. Baisoon and her siblings were always wanderers and really, loners. They liked to travel alone and was a trait that happend to run down the family line. However, some siblings had strayed far from this trait. Some had found their passion and some had just disappeared. This one who stood before her, held the most creative mark on her shoulder, Baisoon gazed at it for a while before flicking her eyes back up to catch the green orbs. Still standing silently, Baisoon shifted into a more comfortable pose. A pose that one would use in a friendly conversation. Wind picking up her tail, which was growing longer each day as she was growing older, wiggling freely. A curiousness shot through her head as she watched the filly turn back for a second. Baisoon tilted over and looked behind her, nothing of interest. Pulling her self back into the friendly stance, Baisoon sat on her bottom and flicked her tail which wiped the path clean from the particles that were lose. Dust and dirt flying from behind her.

Speaking was not a power she obtained, and she never will, she knew that very well. Every filly laughed with joy. This one was no different, her voice ringed through her ears, saying the same exact words as she had used before. Baisoon shook her head and retraced her glance on the stranger. She mustn't waste her anger on someone or anyone who did not cause her to not own a voice. However, she was jealous. An emotion that everyone will come by at least once in their lifetime. Her head filled with thoughts, but at the same time focussing on her surroundings, the filly picked herself back up and onto her much more stronger legs. She could tell this one wasn't much younger than she was, however Baisoon used the tail theory, and it told she wasnt as old as she was. Bowing smoothly and lifting herself back up, that was all to her reply. Nothing more.
