Okay ... now Nash knew that he was lost. That seemed to a trend in his life, sadly enough. First, he'd managed to wander away from his home, all of his friends, and his teacher... and now, he couldn't even keep track of where he was in this new place that he'd found.

But ... oh! Wait! Was that the weird-shaped tree? It was! Oh good... he knew where he was now. At least, physically.

However, he had no idea what he was doing with his life anymore. He had though, back home... to follow Valen about, do things for him and help keep track of, oh, meetings and the like. Perhaps hunt for him if he needed it, that sort of thing. And in between ... entertain the young ones with what skills that he had learned.

Now, though ... there was no more Valen. No more pride, and no one little ones...

He sighed softly, plopping down beside that tree. What to do ...?

Narhari never thought about where he had been, or hadn't been. Everything was a new adventure for him. Which today was, he'd never been in this land, and curiosity over took him. Or at least he hadn't been in this part yet. Narhari loved everything about new lands and new faces. Over caring, some would call him, which sometimes they were right. He could be deceived very easy. Taking advantage of, as well as beat up. He didn't believe in fighting back at all

He came close to view of a rather strange tree, or at least to other's it was strange. To him, it was beautiful for being unique. Though, besides the tree, was a very odd lump in the ground. To him, looked like a funny red bush. At least from where he was. Curiosity took on even more, as he made his purple self towards the weird object. Which as he got closer, finally realized it was nothing but another lion! Oh, how stupid he had been.

He couldn't really blame himself though. The angle he was at made it look like the other was a rock or a bush of some type. "oh, sorry there, I thought you were and interesting plant or rock of sometype!" He said honestly. No reason to lie to others. It just made things worse then they had to be. "I'm Narhari!" he added his name to show he was friendly.

Having been sort of lost in his own thoughts, Nash jumped a bit at the sudden voice, blinking as his head came up and whipped around to eye the other.

What in the ..? He'd never seen a lion with such odd colors before... what a strange land this was that he had stumbled into. He started to frown at the plant comment, but then stopped himself. How did he know that he wasn't just as odd-looking to the other lion? It might make sense, somehow, to think he was a plant or a rock.

"Ah... it's all right," he finally said, shaking head a bit. "I'm Nashorme."

Narhari felt bad for thinking he was one. He'd never go around purposely thinking creatures were something else, no matter, it was in the past now. "I was just out on a stroll, exploring the lands." He tried to start a conversation up with the other. He seemed very friendly. No reason to put up too much of a guard. Narhari wasn't one to fight, so he was more then happy that the other didn't seem interested in fighting.

"So, anything new upon this world, other then me of course." He asked, though he didn't even know the other. He liked to try to make friends, and first impressions were always the ones that stuck in other's minds. Or at least, that's how he saw it. He always remembered them when running into others, anyways.

Nash smiled at that, head tilting a bit. Exploring, huh? Well, that was similar enough to what he was doing, himself. "I guess you could say I'm doing a bit of the same. But I've never been in these lands before. I ah... I've sort of gotten lost from where I grew up," he admitted with a little droop of his ears. He wished he did remember the way back, but it had been too long, by this point.

Hm... new, new. "At the moment, it all looks new to me," he replied to the other's question, tail-tip twitching a bit. "If you've been around here before, you'd know better than me what's new." His tone now was just slightly teasing, playful.

"Well, that seems to put you in quite a pickle." He started to say. He couldn't really help him much. Other then possibly pointing him in a direction that he might know. "Do you know of at least one detail about the place. A lake, type of rock maybe? I can try to help you as much as possible."

Well, he suppose the other was right. Though, this lands all he knew was what he's seen so far. "Well, Maybe not. I only know what I've seen before I reached this area. So, we could end up knowing just about the same, about other parts of the land." He said with a laugh. Trying to make small talk but was probably failing horribly.

Nash shrugged slightly. "I know a lot of things about ... where I grew up... but it doesn't make finding it easier." He sighed. "There was a big mountain, and lots of flatlands, some swamp... it was very big. But I think ... also very far away from here."

Smiling faintly, he shook his head to banish the memories - not wanting the pain of losing his home just now. "That could be true," he replied to the other's second comment, with a laugh of his own.

"Don't give up, you'll find it. I'd help you go in the direction needed if I knew anything about the place." hearing the description, it didn't sound like anything he's ever been to. If it had, he'd know exactly where it was unless he was a cub when seeing it. He didn't remember anything about his cub hood. he didn't know how to comfort the other to the least. He wasn't good at that.

Nash smiled at the other then, and nodded. "I don't intend to give up... but even so, it's kinda fun to explore this place as long as I'm here."

He glanced about again and then nodded in a certain direction. "I think there's a stream of some kind over there, hear it? D'you want to go have a look?"

Narhari smiled at the other. At least he wasn't going to give up, that was always a very good thing. " Exploring is always fun. Even when running into a bit of danger." Of course at the time of the danger happening, it wouldn't have been very fun. But after it was done, and you thought about it a bit, it turned into a bit of fun.

"Sounds like a plan, I am a little parched." he said nodding at the going to find some water. Plus, if there was water, there was always something to snack on. He was getting a bit hungry. "Ever had fish?" he asked.

Nash laughed at that and shook his mane out a bit. "Well, even so ... I hope we don't run into danger," he replied with a grin.

Then he padded up to that stream and lowered his head to take a drink, and blinked at the question.

"Uhm. Actually ... no, I haven't. There was a stream by where I grew up, but there weren't many fish there..." And no one had ever taught him to fish before he'd been apprenticed to Valen.

"To me, fish is the best type of food." he told the other. "But it's most difficult to get, especially when you hate water." He told him with a laugh. Narhari did hate water, or at least he didn't like it when it was on the ground and moved fast. Rain was just perfect for him.

He started the way the other had pointed in. "See, the trick is to claw them with both paws as they swim. " He went on. "Hope you don't mind getting a bit wet?" He asked just to make sure. If he did, then Narhari would have to do all the work.

Nash shook his head at that. "I don't mind water," he replied with a quick smile. In fact, he even knew how to swim ... though that had been a forced learning. Sort of.

Some rocks had given way underneath him at one point and he'd fallen into a river during part of his wanderings. But he'd been calm enough to keep his head and figure out which way was "up" and had gotten out okay.

So he had a sort of healthy respect for water, but he didn't fear it as some might have after such a thing.

Good, at least he'd have help then. He smiled at the other. "Then this will be easier then I figured it'd be" He said with a chuckle. It didn't take long before the got to where the other said it would be. There it was. He stopped to take in the bit of land to make sure he'd never forget about it for at least a long while. Then he continued to walk again. He smiled at the other as well. "The trick at catching fish is, you have to dig your claws or teeth into them. Holding them gently never works."

Nash blinked at that and then laughed softly - baring teeth in a playful sort of manner. "When does holding any prey gently work very well?" he pointed out.

Though if you wanted to play with it for a little while first, it paid off not to just bite down.
