Yeps, another East Asian one.
I have no idea what is wrong with me; I'm just liking the sounds.
Vowels:
A- father
E- bet
I- she
O- low
U- too
Ê- like French 'bleu', or Mandarin 'shi'
Just make diphthongs.
Nothing hard.
Consonants like Mandarin Pinyin:
B.Q.D.F.G.H.J.K.L.M.N.P.R.S.X.T.W.Z.
C- bad zoo
Syllable construction:
(C)V(E)
C- consonant, not necessary
V- vowel, necessary
E- ending (k,n,m,ng, or nothing)
This language is based on syllables.
A syllable can have two meanings and uses.
Base - this is the syllable itself.
Radical- this is the syllable modifying another syllable.
Much like Toki Pona.
Ex:
Rên - human/ person
Jik - to know
Rên 'jik - person:to know - friend
Jik 'rên - to know:person- smart person
Jik na rên - to know razz ART.:person- to know a person
Na is used when the first word is acting on the second in a situation that without 'na' there would be ambiguity.
The symbol (') is used at the beginning of radicals to note that they are in fact a radical.
IMPORTANT!:
There is a big need for timing in speech.
In writing, one can see all the radicals and bases, but in speech one must make short pauses between bases, and combine bases with their radicals.
Like, you shorten the pause between bases and their radicals, but keep the pause between single words.
The pause is very short, and when shortened it sounds as if there is no pause at all.
