On August 27, 2008, in an interview with E! Online, Smallville Executive Producer Darren Swimmer confirmed Darkseid was being lined up as a possible villain during the series' eighth season. If so, this would mark the first live-action interpretation of the character.
Doomsday AND Darkseid?! The world as Clark knows...is headed for a TV movie! This would make an AWESOME TV movie: Smallville: Armageddon!
