I agree with the film to a point, but I am Native American and before others came here to America, we took only what we needed, not to excess and used EVERY part of a animal. We thanked the animal for his gift to us, same with the rocks and trees we used. I am procarnivore, I love meat but I also know that a fellow being has given me a gift, with his life to support my life. Even when we eat greens we are killing a plant to support us, and should thank them for that gift, it is not just animals that are killed. For everything in your life something has died and changed to support you, look at the sand that was and is now the glass that you use as a monitor, that is but one example there are so many more if your willing to look.

Yeah, I can kinda see your point too, but I am a pure animal lover, I would do anything possible to prevent the suffering of animals! and I also think that we humans have destroyed so many things, and that eating living species is worng. Think of it like this (What would you do if someone tried to EAT you?) .. I actually hate the person who started the whole killing of animals, its wrong, and we are animals ourselves really, just without furr... thats my opinion ofcouse, many others with dissagree..

I too am an animal lover very much so, I am going to school to be a naturalist. I hope to study and do research on animals in the wild to find out more and educate people. There is a balance tho, we learned that trick from watching other animals long time ago. Other animals do it, wolf hunts deer to feed her self and her cubs, and it is not wrong it is the way she is. Without her help there would be too many deer and things would be out of balance, they would eat all the greens, then other animals would not be able to eat. I too do not like to see animals suffer that is wrong, that is why I agree with how we use to raise animals for food 200 years ago with free range cattle and sheep, chickens running around the barnyard etc. I know others do not agree with me but like you it is my opinion and we all have one, I accept that others disagree with me and accept their points of view.

I agree with you smile I have nothing against vegetarians, but we are omnivores, and we do have our ecological niche (lots of states have a deer hunting quota they have to meet to help control the deer population). No one likes to see things die (ok, some people do...), but things have to die for other things to live, and for the cycles of life to be propagated. I'm going to risk sounding mean and say that it's a little naive to wish that things didn't die...
