She's a lawyer...a small-time lawyer. I don't feel comfortable with Miers because I don't feel she is worthy of the Supreme Court. And for Bush to say she's more qualified then Janice Rogers Brown or other experienced judges.dI'm sorry, but I just can't back Bush on this.

My first response was: "Harriet who?" and I consiter myself pretty politically aware. Janice Rodgers Brown was one of the potential justices I was kind of hoping would get the nomination (an agreeable ideological disposition, a judicial record, as well as being a very politcally savvy choice). That so many conservatives are disappointed and Democratic members such as Harry Reid and Charles Schumer like the idea has me
very wary of this choice.
