I heard from a friend who has family in Hawaii that the cost of living there is pretty much high.
It ticks me off when people treat Hawaii as a "paradise" (really resort) kinda place. All they do is just look at the hotels and spas, nothing beyond that.
If there are such things, can you imagine what some of the life is like outside of these places?
I have to agree with you there. The cost of living here is high here. We aren't just sunshine and paradise. We are still affected with the world's problems everyday. Families lose each other, there's homelessness, there's basically every problem anyone else has accept for the fact of natural occurences like blizzards and all.
No offense but whoever thinks that Hawaii is a paradise, you are seriously gulliuble and stupid. Most only look at the shiny cover that Hawaii has without even looking in the inside mess that we are. It's really sad.
