Meh. talk2hand
Dad keeps sending me anti-Obama e-mails. I'm leaning toward him and ever since I said I was, he's been teasing me about it. A lot of his so called reasons I shouldn't like him have actually made me like him more; such as he sent me an e-mail with quotes from Obama's books that were meant to look racist but either seemed ungracefully taken out of context or I related with them because I grew up around a lot racist people and could see where Obama was coming from in terms of trying to stay off their radar.
Yeesh, I don't know. I don't exactly hate McCain either but I'm not excited about him. Hell, Dad doesn't like him but sees him as the lesser of two evils. McCain seems like he cares about as much as Obama seems too. I don't trust either one of them, to be frank.
If my vote for either guy sends America down the tube, it was bound to happen anyway.

I hear you. I was personally pretty excted for Hilary, and after she dropped out, I wasn't too keen on either McCain OR Obama... Now, I suppose I will vote for Obama, but I can tell you it certainly wasn't my first choice!

Thank you. mrgreen My mom wanted Hilary too. At the time I didn't care either way. I'm 99% sure I'm going with Obama now. Unfortunately no sooner than I'd somewhat made up my mind I noticed what lovely shade of red my state was on the electoral map... le sigh. That wont change my mind though.

Well, congratulations, President Obama!
It's a bit of a bittersweet victory for us crazy liberals here in CA, though-- the proposition to take away the right of gay couples to marry is about 99% sure to pass. They're technically not done counting, but at this point there's really no hope. All we can do is pray it gets overturned. *dies*

Yeah, I found that odd actually. California voted against it??? I think I heard that Obama's for unions that have a lot of the same benefits. Just don't call it marriage, OoooOOoOOOooo! eek
By the way...
Dad didn't even go vote. rolleyes

My super-conservative Papap voted for Obama, we were all so proud.
*sigh* We've been having crazy protests over Prop 8, but nothing's happened yet. Here's hoping. *raises teacup*
