Read in the papers the other day that Patrick Stewart -You know the guy, X-men series, played Picard in Star Trek- that he will be joining David Tennent in the next series of Doctor Who as a Timelord in I think it was...2 episodes with...Daleks.

Patrick Steward is apperntly Playing the Meddling Monk. That was a renagade Time Lord Durring the 2nd Doctor's time which I think is pretty cool becuase there bringing some thing back from the 2nd doctors time to present day. I am excited if it dose happen ^^.

It sounds too good to be true -- and it's in the Sun.
Bear in mind that Patrick Stewart is currently in Hamlet with none other than David Tennant, so it's very easy to see where this rumor can originate from. wink

He's playing the king, just like he did a million years ago in the BBC version (incidentally, Hamlet then was played by Derek Jacobi who showed up on Doctor Who last year. wink )

Sounds a bit fanw@nky to me... Daleks, Ice Warriors, Zygons and the Monk?
Then again, the last season's finale was a bit like that, too, so you never know.
I do think it'd be great for Stewart to get a role in the show. While we're at it, can we get that holographic Doctor from ST:Voyager, too? Then we'd have two baldies, Picard and Picardo. xd

Oooh. That's cool.
Even though Patrick Stewart and DT look nothing alike. smile
I know Moffat's big on new characters, but old stuff gets brought back SO much -COUGHDALEKCYBERMANCOUGH- so of course we'll just have to wait and see. xp
