Check out your bookstores! Borders finally got a shipment! And here I was, expecting it around the fourteenth..... here is is the fourth... and I am sitting here with Chloie's chapter one book. Yay! Now I can read it durring blackouts.
Interestingly enough, it isn't that different from the scanslations...which is good. It shows that orangex------x.com knows what they're doing. ^^

I'm planning to get all the Death Note manga in English. I long to hold L, Nia, and Mero in my hands.... *cackles insanely*

I turned 18 two years ago. blaugh And anywho, already posted on the topic of DN in English last week in another thread, but I will post it again here for everyone's convinience. Quote: KYAAHHH! I got the first volume todaaaaaaay! It's actually not bad! I haven't seen any gaping errors or anything... There's obviously some differences from the scanalations, but as I'm taking a Japanese class right now, it really hits me how hard some things are to translate... so that's okay. The only thing that I actually noticed that could be better is the "L, do you know" note. Instead of having it as L....... D....... O..... Y.... O.... U..... K.... N.... O.... W...... They had it as L..... Do.... You....... Know.... Which isn't bad, but it's a little more akward to see if you don't know what it's supposed to be, because of course L is just the first part of the word Lord, so at first glance it looks like it says "Lord do you know".... BUT other then that it is teh awsome. There might be more stuff wrong with it, but I suck at noticing that kind of stuff, so I don't know of anything else. (And I'm not kidding when I say that I suck at noticing this stuff. I didn't even notice that there was a whole person missing in a panel at one point in Yami no Matsuei... And that person was quite important to that panel... And I had the scanalations so I knew he was supposed to be there...) So anyway, yayness!
