The Brood's symbol appeared on the titantron as a ring of fire surrounded the entrance. Kalos, Trish Stratus, and the now reinstated member of Smackdown, Jeff Hardy, rose up around the titantron frm under the ring. They walked down the ramp wearing black shirts that said "Brood" on one side and on the other "The blood will consume the darkness" on the other, both written in red. Jeff and Kalos slid into the ring, Kalos' Hardcore title over his shoulder. Trish entered the ring normally. They had mics in their hands as the theme song died down. Kalos was first to speak

"So, you guys wondered why Jeff came back to Smackdown, huh? Well it's like this. See, Jeff and I realized that together, we're nearly unstoppable. That's why we decided to bring back a group everyone feared..The BROOD!" The crowd cheered wildly. Jeff then spoke

"See, when Kalos was beign ganged up upon by those so called 'gods' I knew it was time to spring into action. Sure I could have taken the belt from Kalos, but would I really betray a friend? No. So after our assault on Rev, Kalos and myself, along with Trish here, decided to start a faction up. The only thing is was to trade me for AJ Styles. So now, the Brood is set up and we'll consume the blood of those that dare walk in our path. Just like Matt's friend Rev did. Matt crossed Kalos, so his friend Matt paid for his sins"

Trish then spoke after the crowd stopped cheering. "You see, this is what happens when you mess with the new and IMPROVED Brood/" Trish showed the video of what happened to Rev. "There's plenty more where that will come from. Trust us..the beating does not stop there."

The promo ended as they all headed backstage
